KH3D MX doesn't like to say names...(Spoilers)

Recommended Posts

Have you ever noticed that Master Xehanort doesn't seem to want to refer to people by name? Most of the people he talks about is usually referred to by whatever title he gives them.

Sora: Dull, ordinary boy

Ventus: The broken boy/feckless neophyte

Master Aqua: The misguided master

Terra: The feckless youth

Malificent: The evil fairy

Riku, Braig, Lea: ?(he hasn't referred to them yet)

Even when making Organization XIII, he gave them new names, a sign of ownership maybe. The only people I remember him calling by name are Eraqus, Terra, Ventus that one time, and Vanitas. Is there any special reason he does this, perhaps a statement that he's above everyone else, or is it just a coincidence? What would he call each of you?

I always saw it as his way of putting himself above everyone else, calling them by name gives them more of an identity, making them equals. And by giving them those titles, it's almost like he's pointing out their flaws, making him feel more powerful.

....Meh, I really don't know. xDD

I thought so too O: I thought it's his way to show us "All other people don't deserve to be called by there real names by ME! ME!!! The Mighty Goat-Face!"

Maybe he doesn't like to use names because he lives under the fantasy that he's going to turn everybody in all the worlds into some form of Xehanort aka him, one day, so he figures "why should I use their names, they're all just going to be me in the end"

Thats because MX likes to give long colorful speeches while using hand and finger motions for good measure . He's also quite long winded . He never just states the bottom line or is straight to the point including peoples names xD

you forget also doing creepy faces xD

Xehanort, although he doesn't like to admit it, is a very self conscious man and his name isn't exactly common. Back when he was young and his teachers took the register they would always get his name wrong and as such his classmates followed suit. Because of is extraordinary name people eventually got tired of trying to pronounce it so they called him. "Mr. Ham with the twiddly fingers". The truth in that name scared Xehanort so much that he now almost never refers to people by name (he even called his dad "mom" and his mom "dad"), so the world can feel his pain.

This is the story of how his darkness truly began.

This exactly Master completely ignores other's ability to make their own choices, he acts like they all are puppets who will act as he predicts. Fortunatley ignoring freewill has proven to be his fatal flaw which is good for the light side.

-nods- Calling someone by name would also be making a connection. Why bother when he sees them as tools, little chess pieces that he can move around? He just flat out does not care. xDD
