KH3D *Spoilers* What Was The Point?

Ok so I've read many topics discussing the 7 guardians, many of them excluding Lea from the 7, which I'm kind of starting to agree he might not be part of the 7. But then, what was the point of him becoming a keyblade wielder? Just the more the merrier? Of have they planned something for him to help out with?

And also does anyone else think the KH2 Axel/Lea themed keyblade looks better than the one he summoned as his original keyblade? I like the 2 circular blade design better than the one with flames at the end. Just my opinion though.

Personally I think Lea is taking Terras spot in the 7 until Terra is saved . Unless Terra isnt saved until the end and Lea stays in that slot.. Also Lea got a keyblade to travel the worlds safely and to bring back his friends .( using corridors of darkness can be dangerous as a human so this was neccessary ) ..Personally i love both keyblade designs .

Can't really say as to how he got a keyblade. It's one of those mysteries surrounding the keyblades that'll probably get elaborated on later. I don't believe he's a guardian, either, just from how he doesn't strike me as the heroic type. Risking his neck for his friends, sure, but doing it for the greater good? I just can't see it.

 

Oh, and the handle of his keyblade is just plain weird. I know it's supposed to reference his chakrams, but I'll be surprised he doesn't harm himself with those pointy things.

I've said this before in other thread, but i'll repeat myself:

 

In think that in the beginning of KH3, Lea will be said to be a Light, but...

At a certain point, Lingering Will appears, and backstabs Terranort with his keyblade, and when that happens, the ''armor'' lingering will is, will fall, and Terranort will get his Terra hair back, and Terra will be back, also making MX appearing again.

 

Terra will be the true 7th light, now as a pure person, who managed to 100% control darkness for good.

Well, i really like Lea rather then Terra, but i'm just trying to think like Nomura (Which gives me headaches and my nose bleeds)

He wanted to become a Keyblade wielder to keep his promise and bring back Roxas and Xion even tho he doesn't remember her, but the traveling thing is kinda a necessity too. Yen Sid agreed to help him because it was something pretty unpredictable which they kinda need against Xehanort.

I don't see the prob. of lea being one of the 7 guard.He just is.Maybe he can weild it 'cause he touched vens wooden keyblade and it had some magic causing him to earn the ability and simply he had the makings

It was already stated how he could wield . He went to Yen Sid and got the ceremony and then was sent to train with Merlin and the faeries in a hyperbolic time chamber to speed up his training . Its in the May 10 Famitsu interview and the DDD Ultimania interviews ..Even with the ceremony he truly did have the makings since the keyblade must also choose you .

Till Terra is back on the 7 lights, Lea will have to fill the position Terra is supposed to fill.

so pretty much it would be:

Sora- not sure about him, I have a bad feeling about him...

Riku- keyblade master

Mickey- keyblade master

Lea- new keyblade wielder. Will possibly become keyblade master.

Ven- one of the lights Mickey mentioned. Possibly might see vanitas in KH3

Aqua- Keyblade Master

Kairi- the last guardian of light

In this particular incident its not really time travel .Its just an inbetween world where time stands still or something like that . They arent time traveling.. As for the usage of time travel in the overall plot , i agree. I hate when time travel is brought into the stroryline . I feel it cheapens it for sure .

I don't think he will be a light. He has no experience whatsoever with the keyblade whereas Kairi actually has some ... although very little experience. She defeated two shadows heartless at lvl one in one hit.

I just think it's because Sqaure's been giving keyblades to everyone recently. Not really, just funny that it's been happening.

I can here the theme music now: "Dragon, Dragonball, Dragonball Z!". Haha but seriously I thinl Lea will just be an ally of the 7 lights as Terra just seems to have a destined place among them even MX says that he has one of Mickey's Lights among him, which I think hints at him rejoining them. Oh KH3, you will be a mystery for a long time coming.

Well, if there's gonna be a keyblade war, the more they have on their side to fight the darknesses minions (surely they'll be sending out nobodies, heartless, unversed or whatever) the better.

If you noticed, Leas keyblade is basically the handle of Bond of Flame and the blade of Frolic Flame ( the keyblade Ven got after meeting Lea )

Why did he get a keyblade? I have a sneaking suspicion it has something to do with fan service.
