DarkRebellionX 7 Posted August 25, 2012 So i have played my first playthrough on proud mode, and now have started critical mode. Is it just me, or is KH3D a difficult game. I had my share of troubles thru proud mode, and critical mode is just ridiculous. I have never had much trouble in proud mode in past games, and in BBS critical mode was actually pretty easy . Don't get me wrong, i like the challenge and it makes it exciting to not be able to simply coast thru the game without difficulty, but i wanna be sure that others feel the same and its not that i just somehow suck at this installment of the series ._. 1 Kevin_Keyblade reacted to this
HarLea Quinn 26,501 Posted August 25, 2012 To me , this game was easy .. However Ive heard people say its the hardest of the series . You do need to use some tactics and forethought more in this game instead of just hacking and slashing .. 1 VanitasisKirby reacted to this
VanitasisKirby 1,227 Posted August 25, 2012 Meh, Proud Mode was incredibly easy for me. When I first started in Traverse Town, it was a bit difficult because I was only a level 1, yada yada. After Traverse Town, the next 2 worlds were a lot easier, except for a specific DE in the Grid. It was a breeze getting through pretty much every world without "dying". Except for Country of Muskeeters, where you had to defend the coach as Sora. I don't feel that Critical mode is too difficult. It's definitely harded than Proud Mode, that's for sure. But Proud Mode must have been easy for me because I started developing my Ability Link board instantly. 1 HarLea Quinn reacted to this
DarkRebellionX 7 Posted August 25, 2012 Yeah, ive noticed that, the game kinda has a different feel to it than past games, im still getting used to the whole flowmotion thing, i find myself not using it a whole lot in combat, that and reality shifts. My gameplay style is typically using magic to immobilize enemies and such, then taking them out..but thats not quite enough anymore, im sure if i learned to incorporate the new features more in my combat it would make things easier i assume haha
Kishira 2,854 Posted August 25, 2012 Compared to BbS, I thought it was pretty difficult. Not like, super hard, but definatly tougher than BbS. o-o 2 wondermeow523 and VanitasisKirby reacted to this

Rayne the Relentless 14 Posted August 25, 2012 There are plenty of ways to make it easier but it can certainly provide quite the challenge if you really want it to.

I think the game was pretty easy,Ansem 2º form and YMX gave me problems in the beginning, but after i just made a strategy ^^
AnsemTheWise 1,114 Posted August 25, 2012 I think it was more the presentation that was difficult than the damage you take. Enemies are... well, "smarter" than in previous installments, and their abilities are sometimes a little unbalanced (eg. Aura Lion). 1 Nafees Rahman reacted to this
Kello 310 Posted August 25, 2012 It is kinda hard when you are Level 1. On the end.
Rob 5,571 Posted August 25, 2012 In a game thats not KH1, Square deserves a clap. 1 Nafees Rahman reacted to this
Pyrrha Nikos 1,162 Posted August 25, 2012 (edited) To be honest, I found proud mode very difficult and obtaining abilities and commands through via Dream Eaters was hard. All I did was level grind 3-6 levels before I head to the next world and obtain Dream pieces in order to create a specific dream eater that will help me through battles and obtain certain abilities like leaf bracer, second chance, etc.. But over all, I enjoyed KH3D it was so far the best title to date. Edited August 25, 2012 by Silent Maiden

AnsemTheWise 1,114 Posted August 26, 2012 I thought keeba tiger no skelterwild cause it took like two third when it grabbed and stuff I couldn't remember Keeba Tiger's name, but I knew Aura Lion and they basically do the same thing... Either way, at the rate enemies are progressing, I'm almost afraid of KH3.
mikethegamer 53 Posted August 27, 2012 I had no trouble with this game. Probably because I kept hearing how tough it was so I leveled up 10 times per world just to be prepared for whatever happened. So I was pretty much OP for most of the game.
