esumsoraroxas 48 Posted August 23, 2012 So, I have these new Commands that I received from my Dream Eaters' Link Points. When I went to the Commands Menu, the new Commands are viewable, but I have no idea as to how to place them into my Command Deck. The question's in the title. Thanks! esumsoraroxas 48 Posted August 23, 2012 ...Do you play a lot of video games? but yeah what he said ^ Not a lot of KH games, and not a lot of games, generally. Dream Drop Distance is only the second KH game that I've played.
Kinode 3,056 Posted August 23, 2012 When you press Start, you go on Command Deck, then Edit Deck, then you press A on the deck you want, in this case, the combat commands deck. Press a blank space or a command you want to replace another one with. Scroll on the list of commands shown on the right and select what command you wish to place in the selected space. The same method is used for equipping Action Commands. 2 esumsoraroxas and Rob reacted to this

Caity 3,946 Posted August 24, 2012 What she said ^^^ But also make sure not to use the toggle and push in cause then it lifts the command you've equipped to be moved up and down so you can have commands you want to combo or first appear first on the deck in play (I fell victim to this when I first got it cause I thought pressing B would release it but I had to slide the toggle the other way, minor annoyance). Then, are you supposed to use the D-Pad and not the Circle Pad to move the Commands around? I'm a little confused...
Caity 3,946 Posted August 24, 2012 But I'm a guy DAMN ME D: Sorry Then, are you supposed to use the D-Pad and not the Circle Pad to move the Commands around? I'm a little confused... You can use both, just with the circle pad it's easier to accidentally push one out which stops you actually selecting anything since the change in the screen is slight it's easy to not even notice it's been pushed out, if that makes sense

It does. So, do you just press the A Button and move left to right on the D-Pad to move the new Commands on the right side of the touch screen?
Caity 3,946 Posted August 24, 2012 Thanks. It does. So, do you just press the A Button and move left to right on the D-Pad to move the new Commands on the right side of the touch screen? You press A, and then you can scroll through all the options on the right, and then press A again to equip the one you want, then move down (on the left side you'll be again) to another empty slot and repeat til you fill them all (:

On another note, the Circle Pad is so annoying. after you selected your empty slot, you'll be on the right, then you go up or down to see which you want. The first tab is all options,

Caity 3,946 Posted August 25, 2012 Thanks. What if I wanted to replace a Command? Then select the command you want to replace and repeat the progress of scrolling through the other side and pressing A when you come to the one you want, it will replace whatever slot it is you have chosen.
