"I don't want to return to Hecate, and I don't even know if I can go back to Kira and the others." *sigh* "I'm really just a young orphan now.." I said as I dropped down in a corner. I decided to lie down, and I eventually cried myself to sleep. ~Joshua's dream~ I found myself in a pitch black area, surrounded by Hecate, Kira, Kara, Zero, Matches, and my parents. My parents disappeared, Hecate got farther and farther away. Kira and the others stayed, but it was as if I was invisible...unnoticeable. "Kira! Kara!...Zero? Matches....anyone..?" The scene switched, All my friends were being consumed by the evil souls and they attacked. I had to fight back. I brought out my Sword and infused it with a raging fire. They overwhelmed me, so...if this happened...id lose and die? I died by them in my dream.... The scene switched again. I was reborn, as an angel, not knowing how to fly, I fell....and landed in the garden. Down at the garden though, I saw my parents, and an unknown cloaked figure. Immobilized, I witnessed the man slice my parents to their deaths. "Is this what happened to them?" The figure was taking off his hood right about to reveal themselves when... StarStruck 78 Posted August 25, 2012 Kira slid down the tree, falling to sleep. She was exhausted. Her dream was random. She was falling. Falling down to the garden where the feathers layed. She fell at a great speed, greatly injured. She landed, hitting her head hard on the ground. When her entire body was in the ground, her memories seemed to float back up from where she came. "If I wasn't chosen...would everything that occured to my parents...not happen?" I thought about how life would seem with them here. I looked towards the heavens..."I wonder...if I should join them. No...ill see them eventually. Now I need to focus on Psyche. Will the others think after all this? *sigh* I must be thinking too hard about this." I looked at the clock 4:31 pm same as usaul they argue about nothing. "Your the one who probably wasted the money!!" My 'mom' yelled at me she was obviaiously drunk, she started slapping me kicked me down and got out her knife, I felt piercing before I closed my eyes... "Karasu, you were found outside of the orphanage, there was no sign of anyone around, the only thing we saw was a slip of paper with your name: Karasu Suzaku. We gave you to your parents when you were a year old." the owner said to her. "But were they unaware that I was still just going to end up here!?" she asked, clenching her fist. "This place really pisses me off!" she yelled, standing up. "This shard has a meaning, and I and Kira, Josh, Matches and Zero are going to find that meaning out, we are going to find out the meaning of our life." Kara said to herself, running inside the building, coming out with a bag. 'This seems so wrong, but it has to be done.' she thought, leaving the orphanage. My shard lit up as I passed a dark looking house. "Is this...Zero's house?" she asked, standing in front of the house. Kara shook her head. "I have to protect them." she yelled to herself, bringing out her pocket knife, standing at the step of the door, peeking inside to see Zero, in trouble. "Guess I have no choice..." she sighed, entering the knife in the lock, breaking the lock, kicking down the door. "Stop. You have no exact right to hurt your son, It Zero is your son..." This place seems more comforting than usual...." she said, looking around. Hir sight stopped at the feathers. "if I fell when I was injured, shouldn't there be blood?" she wondered. She noticed something. Touching the feathers, she noticed that they didnt have the same soft texture as hers. "these are.... Fake?!" she said, backing away from the feathers. "who would do this?!" "I have to ask you...why? Why did you choose me?!" 'My own soul chose you...because you have been through so many hardships without your parents, yet still you went on. You searched for a new family, Hecate gave you what would almost be that. You left again, still persistent and you found Kira, Kara, Zero, and Matches. They...should be your new family, Joshua.' (Psyche was being so nice, kinda like Hecate...until she lied.) "So...I was chosen because of my determination?" 'Yes. Your determination, for your parents, for learning, for magic, and now you are determined to do the job I have given you...as well as find Kiras memories. You SHOULD find the others, they wouldn't do anything about you running away. And your intellect will prove useful.' "This whole time...I've been.hidden away from my new family? Even Hecate kept me away. But I'm over playing the runaway." *My shard glowed luminously, and turned temporarily blue, like Kara's.* And out came a soul! The one Kara collected! It flew towards Psyche. 'I see your friend Kara has already collected a soul. Thank her for me when you are there...and be sure to find Kira's memories.' I left the godly place. Walking the streets, I came across a darkened house. The door was completely kicked down. Curious, I came closer....it was Kara and Zero! O unsheathed my sword and wrapped an icy sheet over it. 'I'm being spied on.' she thought. She wasn't sure how, but she remembered how she was able to get out her swords. 'well, I remember something....' she thought. "come out come out wherever you are!!" she said in a sort of teasing way. "well well, an Angel. I hope I don't get put in the wrong place." a man smirked from behind a tree. Her shard began to glow dimly. 'a loose soul?' she thought, unable to twitch when the man cut her arm. "what?!" she said softly, falling to the ground on one knee. No. It cant be. But I have to go...I hope Kara and Zero can hold themselves here.) "Alright Kara, ill go..." I ran off towards the garden. The shard then showes Kira and the man. But Kim was a normal person. What did he have to save? A raccoon? Kim opened his door and walked into his room. While he was changing, his door slam shut. Kim started to get creeped out. That's weird...maybe it's the wind... The blinds flipped over, shielding the sun completely "Who's there?" Kim just said. He was too scared to shout. A shiny sensation caught his eye. Kim walked over to the source of the shine. Kim held out his hand slowly. A rock? Kim tried to adjust his eyes to the darkness. A shard. Kim quickly let go. It was sharp. Kim suddenly noticed he had a headache. He felt dizzy. The shard suddenly opened up. Lights and fog suddenly poured out of the shard, lighting the whole room. Kim had to shield his eyes, until they adjusted to the light. A calm and soothing voice spoke, "Kim Acob...I am truly sorry for the intrusion...but I must needed to talk to thou where no one can see us..." "Who are you?" Kim managed to stammer in broken pieces. "I am the Greek Goddess, Psyche of the Soul." she replied. Kim noticed that she indeed looked like a deity. She had a white aura around her. The being calling herself a goddess had pale skin, brown eyes, and long gold silky hair that fell all the way to her back. "How...how do I know that you are a deity?" Kim asked, suspiciously. He was dazed by her beauty. "What type of proof shall I bear to thee?" The question confused Kim. "Show me any type." Kim simply stated. The being called 'Psyche' elongated her arm up and pointed her finger at Kim. Kim felt a piercing pain in his heart. Kim gasped out of pain. "I am sorry. You needed proof." Psyche stated. "Okay. I believe you. But why did you come here?" "You must go on a quest." "Me?" Psyche nodded, a bit grimly. "You must collect souls using this shard." "What shard?" Kim asked. But he realized almost instantly. "The others will be notified that you are with them." Kim heard a huge explosion, followed by his room shaking. "I must go now. I shall meet thine again, Kim Acob..." Psyche closed her eyes, and shrunk into the shard. The fog disappeared. Kim's door swung open, and his window blinds opened again. "Kira! *I ran to the man* Kira...what have you done to Kira?!".I repeatedly slashed him until my rage fueled me. "Don't hurt Kira!!" I fired a blazing wave of fire upwards scorching and keeping the man in the air. My shard glowed extremely luminous and the magic of the shard transferred to my sword. *Through the shards magic, my sword fired a huge green beam up into the sky, collecting the evil soul. "Its....ok...........this...is.....normal....." I said to her as I clutched my head, "Now you brought someone their going to tell the police about this!!!!! You stupid child!!!!" "Zero you have to get up, e need to run." she yelled to him, looking at the blood running down his face. "Hurry." she snapped, her shard glowing. "This makes since, Zero's mother was possessed." she thought, looking at his mother. "You have left me with no choice...." Kara sighed as a blue glow shined around her. "Evil soul...here my call and go back to where you came form, leave this body and go to Psyche, leave in peace or I will kill you." she echoed to the spirit as it split out of the woman's body. The black spirit sat above the mother for a minuet, then zoomed faster then lightning into Kara's shard. She was shot to the ground, holding to the ground, with one hand clutching her head. "God that's a shock." she said, standing up. "Hurry up, e need to go before your mom wakes up. She won't remember from before she was took by the loose soul." Those evil souls started taking form...some of the gods' worst enemies!...The Minotaur, Medusa, Gorgons, Harpies, The Hydra, Typhon...then came a HUGE soul. It took form...as that cloaked figure! A large green beam in the sky made her look up. "What?" she whispered. She hopped up and jogged over to the source. There was a person passed out on the ground, and when she caught sight of the shard, a million voices spoke in her mind. Psyche...Goddess of Souls....catching loose souls...your shard...chosen one. It had gotten a bit dark outside and Matches still had while till he was home. "taking the shortcut won't hurt" Matches decides that taking the shortcut home would be much better. Matches begins to take the shortcut home. He eventually goes through a dark narrow alley way. " HEY YOU!" An unknown voice come from behind Matches. He pops out a knife and says " Give me all yo Money KID!" Matches just sighs and turns around to continue walking. "Hey I'M TALKING TO YOU!!GIVE ME YOUR MONEY!!!!" He runs up to Matches and tries to stab him with his knife. Matches quickly dodges and kicks the robber right in the chest knocking him back. "Why you....." Matches continues to walk away until more people show up. "Looks like I'm surrounded." The first guy rushes to Matches only to be jabbed right in the face.Matches goes after the other 3 guys.
