Lady Aleister 1,677 Posted August 23, 2012 Sign ups are still open. I will start... Kara walked on the sidewalk to the school, a new school. Psyche, the god of Souls had made this school. The teachers are practically fallen angels that fought in the Great Soul War five hundred years ago. Kara's blue shard lit up slightly as she entered the school, her walking causally to her class room. "Karasu Suzaku, come with me to the office!" the principal yelled from the door. The whole class laughed. Kara slowly got up and walked out of the room, and in three muinets, she was sitting in the principals office. "Kara! You are one of the chosen. Go along and make friends that were chosen by the Godess of Souls and go capture demons!" the principal yelled. Kara just nodded and walked back to her class. SolarFlare12 226 Posted August 23, 2012 I sat in my seat pulling up my funnel-shaped collar trying to hide my shard, because when I was little I was alwayed bullied for the black shard on my neck. People would say I'm bad luck to hang around so I sat in the back, and I the transfer stundent but was quickly called to go to the office,but when she walked in I felt a little pain in my neck. "Miss, somebody passed out..." she announced, and in a minute, Kara and Zero were sitting in the nurses office. "Do you know who caused this Karasu?" the nursed asked her. "N-No! I dont know!" SolarFlare12 226 Posted August 23, 2012 I felt as if I was moving someone took me to the nurses office? No one in the entire school would do such a thing. I was the old one out when I was bullied I was a kind child back then would help others but that chaged after 6th grade I soon became anti-social. The teachers were getting worried but were to caught up with the rumors, I opened my eyes sitting up my vision was blurry. And saw the transfer student talking to the nurse.... Who are you?" she asked with a smile as her shard flashed numerous time and a light shot towards Zero's shard. "I-Im sorry, stuff like this dosent happen..." she sighed holding her necklace. StarStruck 78 Posted August 23, 2012 Kira stood at the school doors, nervous. Cautiously, she opened the doors and walked in, trying her best to keep her wings hidden. It didn't work. They were still completely exposed to everyone. She sighed, wrapping her wings around her as she arrived in her class room. Her class mates stared in awe at her. 'what do they want?' she thought, unaware that they were all staring at her wings. She sat down, staring at everyone. She put her head down, her shard resting on her desk. Hecate told me Psyche started this. walking through the hallway, people were staring at me awkwardly...I was 11, so much younger and smaller than everyone here. "If anyone meontions my age or height, i'll kill them..." I mumbled to myself. I walked into my class, and for once I wasn't the center of attention. Everyone was staring at a girl with wings. Relieved, i looked at a shard on my neck. (Hecate said this was important...but why?) I thought to myself. StarStruck 78 Posted August 23, 2012 Kira just barely noticed the boy walk in. 'why? Why must everyone stare at me?' she thought. She turned at the boy, returning her glance to her desk. She extended her wings and felt more comfortable. She sighed, a little embarrassed at the attention. 'I just hope no one asks me where I came from...' she thought. Catching a feather that almost fell on the ground from her wings, she started playing with it. She swirled her finger in the air, the feather moving around as if it were in a tornado. I walked out glancing at my class once more. I just noticed, no one else had the shard I had....wait, that girl with the wings, she had one. "What do these mean?" I asked quietly to myself. I walked into the library, yeah, more of a reason for people to stare awkwardly at me. I was one of few people who actually read now-a-days. I've always studied. This was interesting though, I pulled out a book on Psyche first, then so I don't get bored, I pulled out the books of every god and goddess i could find. StarStruck 78 Posted August 23, 2012 Kira sighed, dropping the feather. She began working like usual, her wings drooping. It was easy. It was like flying to her. She sighed, finishing her paper and handing it in. Walking out of the room, she headed for the front of the school to relax. She continued walking down the hallway, noticing that the door kept getting further and further. She grew light headed and dizzy, trying to run. CloakedSchemerX 1,011 Posted August 23, 2012 About halfway home, my shard started to shake. "Is it reacting to something?" Staring at the shard, it showed in image...it was that girl! I cast a spell to temporarily increase my speed. As I got there, the girl was passed out smack dab in the middle of the hallway. *I cast an air-based spell giving her a bit more breath* "Are you alright? My names Joshua. Joshua Akira, but you can call me Josh." I took her to the nurses office. (Should've flew rather than walked I remarked in my head, not wanting to SOUND rude.) I felt the corner of the desk hit my head and saw the floor greeting me, I felt dizzy it reminded me of when I was thrown away after they were done.... "Zero, we need to get you back to your home or dorm of whatever." she said gently to him, understanding that some reaction was going on between the shards. "Zero, have you hears of Psyche?" CloakedSchemerX 1,011 Posted August 23, 2012 Waiting, I sat there in the nurses office reading my books. 'Psyche the god of souls.' (Souls? What do we have to do with a god of souls?) Later on I came across 'soul shards.' My eyes widened, deeply thinking of the content. 'Psyche split half of her soul into a crystal. Psyche then split that crystal into several differently colored shards. The shards assist in collecting souls...the reason for that is yet unknown.' "Collecting souls? Why? And why me? Psyche split up their own soul into the soul itself, and a crystal. She then split up the crystal into several shards, those shards would find people to collect certain souls and bring them to Psyche. Why collect the souls? I have yet to learn. Apparently, we are two of the people to collect those souls. Why the shards chose us, is another question unanswered. Especially considering I'm so...young.
