Master of Keybladers 5 Posted August 18, 2012 I heard there was supposed to be Heartless and Nobodies instead of Dream Eaters. Also that the Grid was supposed to be for Riku and Sora goes into Space Paranoids. Are these things true?
ryudra27 14 Posted August 18, 2012 Well, Nomura thought of it early in the production of the game, but I don't think they were ever in the game, just in Nomura's head. I definitely remember reading about that though, must've been in an interview somewhere or something
Iamkingdomhearts1000 1,170 Posted August 18, 2012 Still, at least Sora's Space Paranoids outfit made a cameo.
Hyperion 144 Posted August 18, 2012 In a trailer Sora was fighting Heartless, and a Twilight Thorn in the Second District. Atleast I THINK it was the second district, the one where you fight Opposite Armor in KH1.
Sora96 17,256 Posted August 18, 2012 Originally Heartless and Nobodies were going to be the enemies of the game. But they decided to go with Dream Eaters instead. Sora was originally going to go a world based on Tron while Riku went to a world based on Tron: Legacy. And Sora and Riku were intended to go to different versions of Fantasia. Ultima Spark 753 Posted August 18, 2012 I always thought the heartless and nobodies appearing in the 2010 demo was just that - demo stuff.
hatok 6,413 Posted August 18, 2012 And Sora and Riku were intended to go to different versions of Fantasia. They did...
Mila 37 Posted August 18, 2012 They did... different areas, yesbut "different versions" => Fantasia (1st) and Fantasia 2000 (2nd) 2 Kello and Kinode reacted to this
AnsemTheWise 1,114 Posted August 18, 2012 In addition, even though Tron: Legacy was chosen for both Sora and Riku, Nomura decided to switch their stories just before the last minute. Riku was supposed to be in the Games arena for the fight against Rinzler originally, from what I remember.
King Riku 2,063 Posted August 18, 2012 Yeah, if you look at the 2011 trailer, you'll see Shadow Heartless.
Elijah Gravenhorst 480 Posted August 18, 2012 I wish they had kept the heartless and nobody Idea, they are definately cooler as enemies. 1 lizzie1238 reacted to this
Snow 1,800 Posted August 18, 2012 I heard there was supposed to be Heartless and Nobodies instead of Dream Eaters. Also that the Grid was supposed to be for Riku and Sora goes into Space Paranoids. Are these things true? It does seem likely, as the Heartless and Nobodies have been the main enemy for the past games. Why not reuse the idea?
Rob 5,571 Posted August 18, 2012 And they were going to be in their KH1 clothes.
rodx 8 Posted August 18, 2012 (edited) in one interview , nomura said that in the beginning , the game have a ''Lea's scenery''. ( only in concept I don't know if their finished and discard ) Edited August 18, 2012 by rodx
lizzie1238 538 Posted August 18, 2012 I wish they had kept the heartless and nobody Idea, they are definately cooler as enemies. Unfortunately, it would be impossible for them to exist in the dream worlds, so they had to be replaced with dream eaters.
Kirux 1,224 Posted August 18, 2012 Lea was also actually supposed to save Sora, keyblade in hand, but Nomura changed it for effect near last minute.
Henne 150 Posted August 18, 2012 Lea was also actually supposed to save Sora, keyblade in hand, but Nomura changed it for effect near last minute. I think, that was for the better. There was so much happening in that scene already. 1 lizzie1238 reacted to this
Elijah Gravenhorst 480 Posted August 18, 2012 Unfortunately, it would be impossible for them to exist in the dream worlds, so they had to be replaced with dream eaters. They could have just made it possible. It's not like the game would just spit the heartless out and say "No! You cannot be here!" 3 AxelRoxasXionKH, Uncle Dolan and hatok reacted to this

Pyrrha Nikos 1,162 Posted August 20, 2012 What was Nomura's original intent for the ending of KH3D? He stated it before in the early january '12 issue with Famitsu that he thought the ending he originally came up with wasn't that good and Disney didn't approve of it. And I thought he was going to explain this in the Ultimania, but it never came up. So, any guesses?
Henne 150 Posted August 20, 2012 So, any guesses? Maybe that Sora would not be saved in this game?
