Do you like Anime or CGI Opening?

So in video games do you prefer anime or CGI openings? For me, I would have to say anime openings. Also, post your favorite anime or CGI video game opening.

    It all depends on how it's made. CGI makes it look more realistic, but with an anime opening you can do practically anything, plus i guess it's easier to develop anime openings.

    Like everyone else is saying, it all depends on the game. I don't see a lot of anime "openings" (as in the loop demo, I'm assuming), but I do enjoy the anime scenes in Persona and the. I guess that means I prefer CGI openings.

    CGI openings, the ones in SE games are so drool-worthy. Any my favourite is the every CGI opening in a KH or FF game, they're all so good!

    I love CG openings to video games because I feel it fits most of the games I play better. If it's an anime styled game, then yes an anime style opening is fitting. I just hate thigns that are disjointed. I have to all time favourites:

    But more than that i LOVE the FFVIII opening, mostly because for me it was the first to truly look like the CGI we have today. It's just so beautiful and action packed. Plus Liberi Fatali is one of the best intro songs ever, imho. GUSHGUSHGUSH

    CGI. You cannot capture the magic of any KH intro, the epicness of the FFVIII intro or the heartwarming nature of the ending of FFIX in anime form. The CG makes it more detailed and thus more pleasing on the eyes so you feel blown away each time.

     

    Plus CGI just seems to flow a lot better.

    I love both. Truly, I can't say I prefer one over the other. So long as the type of opening suits the game, then it won't matter whether it is an Anime or CGI opening.

    These are probably two of my favorite game intros. I wouldn't have DDD's intro in Anime Style, and I wouldn't have TotA's intro in CGI. Both openings suit the game they represent, and I wouldn't want it any other way.
