KH3D Does it matter what rank your spirits are? and complaints about rikus link ablities.

Because most dream eaters do barely any damage so does the rank matter? and I dont like rikus combos they get interrupted too easily and barely do damage so dream eaters are useless for him unless you have ghost drive which is the only one I use imo

Riku using the DE's powers gets useless after a while IMO. Although it helps on boss fights.

 

The ranks reminds me of an MMO I play. I wouldn't take it too seriously as the only difference just stats and resistances they have. I usually star rank for my favorites.

your right about the useless links for riku i mean with sora your invinceble during the links but as for riku you can take damage but as for the ranks i think its just a quality difference so no it shouldnt matter

I find the fire link form useful for hitting multiple enemies and link forms in general useful for enemies that constantly block but I limit myself on a lot of things so for me the link forms and DE in general I think prove much more useful for me than anyone else.

No, the ranks are useful. The higher the rank, the stronger the dream eater is. In addition, the higher the rank the more likely that your dream eaters will attack foes/support you instead of just sitting around. I'm trying to create all dream eaters with a star rank.

Really? I haven't seen this difference. I had a lower rank DE and made a star rank. I saw the same abilities.

Ranks are useful... if you want to have the most power Spirits, especially for Critical mode and stuff.

 

Also, Riku's water based Link attack it actually really powerful when you get to the "surfboard combo" part. It deals a ton of damage.

If you get the DE to have a certain, I guess you could call it a nature. It unlocks more. At least thats what I thought, cause I had to Meow wows, one of E rank and one of S and the S rank got more abilities.

But most dreameaters in general unlock more moves if they go to a different disposition. The ranking doesn't effect the disposition they're in or whether or not they unlock something from that disposition.

I like that you'rn not forced to look for a ridiculous amount of link styles for 100% completion, as you have to do for Sora.
