esu1549 26 Posted August 22, 2012 Agreed. sometimes im always thinking it could have ended the series.
Tempestt 0 Posted August 22, 2012 Kingdom Hearts 2 makes me wet.... LMAO! I JOKE, but seriously, i love KH2. I'm playing DDD right now and i can't help but miss the heck outta KH2. I've played em all except Re:Coded.... someone tell me if it's worth it...
Austin South 33 Posted August 22, 2012 It's not really. It's one of the worst games. All you do is run around figuring out that there's data inside the real Sora that can lead to freeing TVA and others, when that was right in front of you the whole time after beating BBS. I'm still gonna probably play it just to put out a story and say, hey I played all the KH games now. KH2 or KH2FM+ just isn't something that can be beat in my opinion. The story was great, the characters developed majorly in it, the battle gameplay made Sora seem more mature(which was the plan and it succeeded). I played KH2 all day, everyday. It's the only game I've ever really done that with. Nothing beats it in my opinion. KH3 has the chance though and that's when it comes out. 1 Nafees Rahman reacted to this
Caity 3,946 Posted August 23, 2012 I loved Kingdom hearts II, it was the first game in the series I played and remains dear to me, but I love the battle system of BBS and I think the way 3D summed up the previous games and leads on is brilliant. OathkeeperDragon 9 Posted August 23, 2012 Kh2 Was the first game of the Kingdom Hearts series I ever played, and its my personal fave. The worlds are long and the story is amazing.
Austin South 33 Posted August 23, 2012 Yeah, I played KH1 first, but when KH2 came out, I played it and never stopped. It's the better game of the series.
keystrike 145 Posted August 23, 2012 KH2 was a good game, but the original still beats it. Also: Is it just me or did it seem like there was a lot more kh2 hate a couple years ago?
kaorulight 14 Posted August 23, 2012 Yep KH2 was the best in my opinion to tell the truth, and it was more easier to understand and not so confusing
Austin South 33 Posted August 24, 2012 KH2 was a good game, but the original still beats it. Also: Is it just me or did it seem like there was a lot more kh2 hate a couple years ago? Never heard about that, just that not much love was being given to the KH series for a couple years because no home console games were coming in during recent years. The past four years have nothing but handheld releases and not everyone can afford a new system for each one.

The past four years have nothing but handheld releases and not everyone can afford a new system for each one. Fans incredibly hyped up KH2 but as a result it felt underwhelming and ended up being heavily criticized by those same fans who were so looking forward to it. Now that so much time has passed it would make sense that the same sentiments aren't being expressed, but I was more curious than anything if anybody remembered this. replika13 455 Posted August 24, 2012 it was best before bbs, but just because coded and days sucked a bit. kh3d is now best one and i bet that next game will be more better
Austin South 33 Posted August 26, 2012 KH2 has its share of problems. The most annyoing one for me is this. In KH2 you are given the choice between Melee, Magic, and Defence. However, the only correct choice is Melee, becaues the others offer nothing. You can not play as a magic character in KH2, because no matter what choice you make you still Melee 99.9% of the time. You can't use magic that often, and when you do, it does do much of anything. If you melee 99.9% of enemies as a magic character, why be one in the first place? Why do you even have a choice? It is the ILUSION of CHOICE. KH3D (or possibly BBS, never played that one) Was the first game to make Magic Characters and Melee Characters equal. Giving you options like, loading the deck with weak spells that reload fast, or more powerfull spells that keep you waiting. Melee was a lot of interesting and different attacks, and magic has a lot of interesting and different options. (fire, ice, thunder, water all move in different ways, so HOW they more is sometimes more important that what boosts you have on.) KH2 is still the game i've played the most, but it is not perfect. 3D is my new favorite, the gameplay is better in 3D, even if the plot is not as good. (Everthing funny, interesting, or emotional is saved for the last 10 minutes, which really harms the rest of the game.) Well the reason it's set out between three different choices is because it's the same way as in Kingdom Hearts. Depending on which you choose, you could earn certain abilities earlier or later, take guard for example. Choosing the shield, you'd get it at a closer level than if you chose a sword or the staff. FireRubies1 1,325 Posted August 27, 2012 (edited) I like it but honestly it's pretty annoying. Playing through lots of DIsney worlds where you just help progress the movie's story and not contribute to the plot. The big open areas where all you could do was walk Pridelands. Also having to get skills through drive forms even though the game is easy enough with button mashing. Malificent's role was insulting and degrading, and Pete made me want to shoot my PS2. Kairi sorta lost her fun personality and just became "Sorasorasorasorasorasora". The game didn't really have that same lovely feeling of KH1... in KH1 you were a growing boy and learned lots of things. In Kh2 It's "Friendship, helping, Pete/Organization, boss, Keyhole" I still love KH1 and BBS the most. Fi0078 19 Posted August 31, 2012 KH2 is great, but I must say it is not my favorite. Don't kill me people, but it's true! The story wasn't as in depth as I would have liked. I don't know, something just felt like it was missing, you know. I'd have to say BBS keeps me the most entertained. 1 Austin South reacted to this

To me, the best in the series would be your opinion based on which one keeps you entertained the most. For me, none of them beat KH2 when it comes to entertainment, for you, it's BBS. MyDixieRect 2,061 Posted September 1, 2012 The original will always be my favorite. I have never felt emotions while playing a videogame before yet that changed it. It not only made me feel emotions but intense ones. Ones that made me want to strangle the characters and ones that made me want to cry. I have never been so moved by, not just a game but by anything else and for that it will always be the best. It also has the best pacing, story and best designed worlds. 2 FireRubies1 and Tigerruss reacted to this
punchxcore 10 Posted September 12, 2012 I loved the first KH, then I started playing KH II and I think that it's definitely a step up in terms of story line, character growth and the ability to use the reaction command in KH II just made it that much better. The battles in KH II were that much more infuriating, too, which I guess keeps you hooked, or not turning on your PS2 for a few days cause you get so frustrated, lol. I really really realllly can not wait for a KH III. I know Square Enix is focusing on Final Fantasy right now, which reallly sucks, but I can only imagine what the game play will be like with how each one has progressed. Weedanort 8,786 Posted September 13, 2012 Kingdom Hearts 2 was the KH game I played the most of. And it's my all time KH favourite. Although BBS and DDD are very good, I still prefer KH2.
Heike 53 Posted September 13, 2012 Yes I think it's the best game in the saga. BBS could be compared to it but It would lose with a 0.1% less points (WOW This made no sense) Yes it is the best game in the saga with both Gamelplay/Cutsceens but to me Days is the best just because Xion is there. Columned-Munny 274 Posted September 25, 2012 I put KHII up top, but only because BBS got a tad too repetitive for me by the time I got to Aqua's playthrough. BBS was really everything I wanted in a Kingdom Hearts game. If a ReMIX 2.5 comes out with a remastered/reconfigured BBS I think I'll do another assessment. PandaIkki 2 Posted September 29, 2012 KHII is the best all around game, some others are better in certain aspects.
Ventuswind 4 Posted September 29, 2012 I like kingdom hearts II the best but BBS is in a close second only because unlike KH2 I couldnt really interact with characters in the worlds as much as I could in KH2. I mean I barely ever saw disney characters in BBS after I completed the world.
