If it had a better camera and actual attack patterns for enemies. And if Europe would have gotten MoM.

you got it nearly two weeks before USA, I think that's a really big present since Europe usually has to wait an extra month AND doesn't get the collectors edition.

But I agree, there either needed to be better camera angles, or not have L and R and the x y a buttons be the shortcut menu

It becomes a bad thing when a game is TOO long though.

Too long? I have over 100 hours in FFX. Only about half of that is the storyline but the sidequests that added to the story were worth it. Also, I'm torn between saying 3Ds is great and for wanting HD remakes. In one interview Nomura said he threw this game together for the 10th anniversary which is ridiculous. He's in charge of too many projects and can't complete them on time.

Yes too long. I was referring to story. i.e. I think Kingdom Hearts II might be too long sometimes. About 75% of the time I'm in a Disney world I just wanna win and go... advance the plot.

I voted no. Because it wasn't some sort of "present". It was just the next game, which happened to be released in 2012, tens years after the first. This was no 10th Anniversary game. Just the next one.

Agree with you, it was the perfect excuse to avoid a real 10th Anniversary game or something related. Edited by Terranort9406

The cover of the game disagrees with you.

And what does the cover of the box have anything to do with it? What, is it because it has the tenth anniversay logo on it? Seriously, just admit that Square did a pooir job with celebrating 10 years of the series being around.

I would say a 25 year anniversary is a bit more special than a 10 year anniversary. To be honest I kinda felt over saturated with Zelda stuff last year. Of course, that may just be because I am not really a fan of the series.

Still, Square did a bad job with celebrating the 10th year anniversary of the series. i think they could have done a bit more to celebrate it. Maybe an HD collection, CD soundtrack, maybe sell some little Kh doll figures of Sora and Riku at GameStop stores, ect.

I have two saves files on FFXII that both have 120+ hours, plus I'm working on a third that's currently at 50....I fricking love that game and I love long gameplays. I WANT to be able to play a game from an obscene amount of time.

I think KH3D was a very nice 10th anniversary present. :D Not only did it move the storyline forward for the first time in 6 years, but it also introduced KH to whole new generation of players.

I'm only saying it was ok because us Europeans got nothing else with the game unlike the rest of the world. I'm sorry but AR Cards do not count, they are part of the game.

I mean don't get me wrong I love KH3D I think it's a great game, I just don't like how we didn't get anything other than an earlier release date then other English speaking territories.

The Mark of Mastery edition was released to give English fans something special for the 10th Anniversary, so why does that mean only Americans get it?

I guess there is no point crying about it now though.

I have to say yes because it's no coincidence that this was done around the time of Kingdom Hearts' 10 year anniversary, and I suppose doing it on the 3DS gave it something new that the other games didn't have in the form of the 3D gameplay. It could have just have easily been done without the 3D on the PSP but the wanted to make it special because it was a special occasion.

To each their own. I don't care too much about seeing the old games in HD. However, playing BBS on a console and maybe getting the additions that the Final Mix games got... I could dig that.

yep,i want the final mixes in english,in a hd remix.

I think that this game is an excellent choice for the 10th anniversary. It brought fans back who don't care as much for side games and just want the main games. It was also good for everyone that loves the KH games no matter what type they are. The plot of the game just leaves you with an even bigger hunger for KH3 then ever before. Not to mention the awesomeness of Riku.
