What about when he starts controlling lightning is the issue for you and the slam isn't blockable nor have I been able to dodge the one from him jumping from the wall. If you have second chance / once more just make sure you have a little bit of HP left so it can't kill you,

The only part that's REALLY annoying is when hes covered in lightning he'll eventually climb on one of the building and try to slam you and if it hits you then you won't be able to use the command that was selected when you were hit. You'll get it back once the gauge fills but it takes FOREVER. Just make sure that you don't have your cure selected when you see him climb the buildings when he's covered in electricity.

My advice....don't die.

But really make sure your a really high lvl as Riku and Sora. And first battle him a Sora, cause you know he fly away. Flowmotion does suck when facing him, but it still better than normal attacks. Also try use long distance attack, though also proves useless at time. Have a energy drink next to, cause no matter what mode your in, its gonna be a long fight. One last thing, write a thank you letter to Square Enix for making such an awesome boss fight. (Not gonna lie this was the best boss fight in KH yet!!)

The 2nd time he jumps off the building and after just go back to the command that was already effected (what I did was had a command in there I purposely sacrificed so it didn't hinder my strategy) so the rest of your commands will stay safe.

Whwn you say bodyslams, do you mean when he's electrified and climbs the building? If so then you're meant to get to the circle on the other side of the level before he jumps and you'll be completely unharmed.

Here's a simple solution: Did you ever consider using dark block when he summons lightning? Oh, and use balloon spells (Not balloonra and balloonga- they take too long)

Ballonaga works great, and when he start raining down thunder on you, just block it.

I recommend Ballonga and Curgga. And maybe Speed Attacks (Sonic Blade, Dark Splicer Strike Raid,Etc),thats how I defeated him. Levels for me: Sora Lv46 Riku Lv 61

3 Balloongas, Firaga Burst, 2 Curagas, and Vanish. (Vanish helps dodge roll better, and as Riku it's best to use double jump to get away with your other spells, with Sora rely solely on Balloons) You should carry a R & R Seal and Frootz Cat dream eater to last better and recharge faster. Blocking with Riku should work and as for Sora just spam dodge roll and wait for when Julius stops to think or climb. Note: You absolutely need Second Chance, Once More, and Leaf Bracer.

My exact deck was: Firaga, Balloon x2, Balloonga x2, Drop me not, Curaga x2. If you don't need a drop me not, replace it with Balloon or Balloonga, whichever works better for you. Use the Firaga if you are far away from him and if you're waiting for your Curagas to come back. Use the Balloons when he rushes you, and he will run into them and take major damage. I would not recommend using dark commands though, they do very little damage (don't use any dark recovery moves as Riku, dark role is okay). For Dream Eaters, I would use Necho Cat (or Frootz Cat), R&R Seal ( he has A LOT of Hp boosts), and Kooma Panda or Zolephant. To dodge his body slams, either flow motion or dodge roll out of the way. If you're Sora, glide away (this is easier with Super Glide). With Riku, I used regular dodge roll because dark roll made it hard for me to see where I was going. Try to get around lvl 55 for both, and keep trying, and you will beat it easily. Hope I helped

I used 4 Curaga, 2 Balloonga, and 2 Firaga as my commands. Sora's Superglide is your best friend. It allows you to avoid all of Julius' attacks while he's covered in electricity. For Riku, I'd suggest you stay moving. Dark Firaga is a good option. Also, Second Chance and Once More are a necessity.
