WHY I THINK NARUTO IS A BAD CHARACTER

ok...I might understandthat it's a tradition that most of Anime's protagonists are simple-minded and carefree so they can learn and change during the course of the anime........but Naruto(the character not the anime) has gone beyond any level of stupidity and Retardation

 

He.(alongside Luffy from One Piece and Tsuna from Reborn) is one of the stupidest protagonists I ever seen in my entire life

 

seriously....you think that maybe the turmoil he had been through and all these battles and all the friends he made yoy think he will get some sort of Wisdom and skills..........but noo.......most of the time he act stupid and irresponsible to the point he immediatley erase any sign of intelligence in the eye of the viewer........over the Course of more than 500 episodes(the original and Shippuden combined) he had used nothing but two jutsu........TWO FREAKING JUTSU

(I'm not counting Sage Mode because it is not an actual Jutsu. I'm not counting the Summoning Jutsu either )

 

 

that's it.......everytime he tries to come up with a new jutsu he instead come up with other variations of the same jutsu's mentioned above........most of his actions breaks any romantic moment he might have with Sakura or Hinata( with Sakura being a total bitch with him for literaly no reason)

 

not to mention he literally FART in one of the filler

 

The only moments that I liked him in was the Nine-Tails related ones...his time with Jiraya Sama...and the epic battle against Pain from the Akatsuki...and some very few moments....

 

other than that...I can't stand Naruto(the character) neither in Video Games nor in Anime.........I love the anime itself but I just hate Naruto.....

Um....why not count summoning jutsu? It has the word "Jutsu" in the name. I can understand the Sage Technique not being included if you include the Summoning Jutsu, as one could argue it's a direct variation of the Summoning jutsu but it doesn't make sense not to include summoning...

I fully agree that hes stupid when it comes to common sense, and that he has many Rasengan variations, but he has his moments when you look at it, like when hes facing Muu, he uses Gaara's sand as a platform to push off of and finish him off with Rasengan Planet, and when hes facing 3rd Raikage, he uses the Rasengan to push his Lightning attack into the weak spot on his chest.

 

So basically what im saying is its not about quantity its about quality and strategy, which he definitely has.

Naruto is simple-minded, but he is not stupid. He's outsmarted so many of his opponents. He and Sasuke outsmarted Zabuza with the the Demon-wind Shuriken, he outsmarted Neji using his shadow clones to distract him while he burrowed underground and then delivered the final blow, he outsmarted Kakuzu within in a matter of couple minutes of fighting him, also using his shadow clones, he outsmarted one of the paths of pains by having him absorb too much of his sage chakra, thus incapacitating the path, he also used his rasengan(being too weak for a direct assault) to redirect the 3rd Raikage's attack right back at him. Naruto is just care-free. When he's in battle he focuses and strategizes. He's not stupid.

Naruto might be simple-minded, but he's nowhere near stupid, and this is evident in basically all of his really important battles. Nearly all of his strategies, he comes up with in the heat of battle, and some of them are genius if I do say so myself. He learned the Rasengan in about a month or so, at genin level, when it took his father years to create it while he was in his prime. He also perfected the Rasengan when he mixed his chakra nature into it and created the Rasenshuriken. Even Minato couldn't do that. And he has like 13248957 versions of the Rasengan, which takes a lot of imagination and skill. He learned Sage Mode way faster than Jiraiya did, and his was stronger than Jiraiya's. He basically solo'd the entire war with his KCM clones, more or less.

 

So what if he only knows 2 or 3 jutsus, quality over quantity is what counts, or "it's the wielder of the sword that counts, not the sword itself" stuff like that. Sure he might be kinda dumb book-wise or tact-wise, but when push comes to shove, you don't wanna mess with Naruto.

 

And sure I might be slightly biased because Naruto's my favorite character, but you can't mess with the facts bud. At the end of the day, Naruto's pretty damn intelligent. He's a trial and error kind of guy, he has to do something to learn it. He has to mess up a couple of times to come out on top. That's just Naruto.

 

Also I don't mean to sound offensive in any of this, this is just my opinion too. Btw, love Naruto (the series), amazing stuff

I can understand the points you have given here and what you mentioned here are the moments that I liked Naruto in.......

 

but even so....other anime characters can do all the strategies he can do and more..............I love the Naruto Anime both the original and shippuden....but Naruto himself as a character...he still has a chance in the Forth Ninja War to prove himself to me
