alpha65777 0 Posted August 13, 2012 I'm a bit confused as to Xions entire role in this whole story. They're talking about people connected to Sora's heart, such as Roxas, Ventus, Aqua; having to come back. But, is Xion going to be a keyblade wielder in the next game. What do you think Xion's role is? Obviously both Ventus and Aqua need to be the guardians of light, but if Sora does manage to reconstruct Xion, what is she going to do? Skai 3,961 Posted August 13, 2012 (edited) Xion is an imperfect replica of Sora made from his memories of Kairi. Only fragments of memories of her actually are recognized and no one even knows her name. She will most likely be: Rescued in the next game Stay forgotten forever Rescued before KH3 (the next game) and they'll just do back stories through Mementos or Other Games (Like 358/2 Days, Re:Coded, and Birth By Sleep, where they addressed issues that weren't addressed in KH2) Not addressed until a new Saga after Xehanort Edited August 13, 2012 by Sky Heart
nic2134 54 Posted August 13, 2012 Well according to Xemnas a body without a heart can create one. And she def showed emotion. So I think the thing is she's a heart connected to Sora who needs to be saved. I dont know if that will mean she can wield a Keyblade, she only could because Roxas could. I don't know guess we shall see...
Shana09 5,769 Posted August 13, 2012 Sora memories + Kairi section of Sora's heart/brain = Xion Sora was in a comatose state. Kairi was the strongest memory. So Sora basically needs to lose his memories which go into Xion and Xion comes alive. It's the only way I believe. But I don't think that would happen. =/

Dave 5,715 Posted August 13, 2012 Xion is the pinnacle of what Ansem the Wise says in the ending: the idea that everything has a heart, and that Sora can recognize this. Xion is the epitome of nothing: her body is manufactured, her looks are based on a memory, her powers are derived from Roxas, and has nothing of her own that makes her a distinct individual. And yet, in Sora's heart, she is recognized as a unique thing, in spite of her being nothing but a construct of his own memories. It gives more credit to Sora to how much he cares for things, and also gives credence to Xion that there is at least a small part of her that truly exists in and of herself. 6 Pyrrha Nikos, Miminezz, zephyrbreeze and 3 others reacted to this

Ven983 490 Posted August 13, 2012 Xion is a very interesting character. She is what drove the story of 358/2 but other than that she has played nothing significant. Every other character we know has served a purpose for a much longer time. Xion is neither real nor nothing. She is made up of nothing but memories and yet she had emotions and thoughts of her own. I am very curious to see what happens to her. When Roxas mentioned Axel's promise to bring "them" back, Roxas was obviously involving Xion into the group. Whether Axel remembered her or not is not yet known. I believe that Xion is going to be saved along with Roxas and she will finally have a development of her own. I could be totally wrong and Xion has nothing else to do, but I am sure that the rest of us would want to see her go somewhere.
Rob 5,571 Posted August 13, 2012 Xion's role is going to be the girl that says "Got me memorized?" and just annoy everyone about it. 1 Vexen reacted to this
Kirux 1,224 Posted August 13, 2012 When Roxas mentioned Axel's promise to bring "them" back, Roxas was obviously involving Xion into the group. I thought it was because it was part of a cutscene originally from Days, before Xion was erased from their memories, but I just looked through theatre mode on my days file and couldn't find it. So I might be a crazy person.

Ultima Spark 753 Posted August 13, 2012 When Roxas mentioned Axel's promise to bring "them" back, Roxas was obviously involving Xion into the group. Whether Axel remembered her or not is not yet known. He doesn't remember her, at least not consciously. Nomura claims that he remembers "other things", whatever they are, but given the right trigger, his (and Roxas's) memories of her may (and probably will) return.
