Rhiscx 54 Posted August 11, 2012 I don't know about anyone else, but dear God, I want to see a Lea/Isa fight scene. Like, a big "final confrontation" fight scene. I happen to be a sucker for stories involving best friends turning into worst enemies (X-Men: First Class was a godsend), so this is really something I want to see happen. It's almost like the games have been leading up to it, in a way. Birth By Sleep kicked things off, showing us two people who have probably been best friends for some years. They aren't seen a whole lot, but hey, it's enough. They've practically got a Sora/Riku friendship going on. Next time we get to see Lea, he's Axel and working for the Organization in Chain of Memories, which just gives us great looks at who Lea has become. We get to see plenty of what Isa has become in the next game. One of the reasons I enjoyed 358/2 Days so much was because of the development in so many character relationships (Saix/Xemnas, Axel/Roxas, Roxas/Xion, the list goes on), one of my favorites being that of Axel and Saix. Obviously, something has changed in both of them. Saix cares so much about their original plan of treason that he's turning into someone Axel can't stand. Hell, we see this in the ways Axel talks to Saix. There's the hint of that old playful insulting going on that they shared as kids, but there's something more stinging behind it too. Of course, this progresses and eventually Axel chooses his friendship with Roxas and Xion over that of his friendship with Saix, something that probably causes a lot of pain for Saix. The cutscene when Saix confronts Axel about it is one of my favorites in the game. By the conclusion, Axel and Saix both acknowledge that what they had is gone, and they (probably painfully) accept that they can't go back. Kingdom Hearts II picks up where that left off, with Saix essentially hating Axel. Whenever he refers to him, it's him bitterly denouncing him as a traitor. I think there's like one time when they interact, and it's Saix attempting to apprehend Axel before he gives away too much information to Sora. Who knows, maybe Saix's determination to get back his heart is a desire to get back his old best friend too. Both die before that can be figured out. Now, we get that tease towards the end of DDD. Lea returns to save the day, and there's Isa (or Saix, I guess we don't know which yet) flying in to stop him. They struggle briefly, exchange a cold stare, and then it's over. Isa speaks no words to him, since he has nothing more to say to him. I want to see their relationship reach its climax and resolution in KH3, because I've loved every moment of it so far. Whether that means a final duel between them or some kind of reparation of their old friendship remains to be seen. Either way, I bet it's great. 6 Kevin_Keyblade, Crown Unlimit, HarLea Quinn and 3 others reacted to this
Kirux 1,224 Posted August 11, 2012 Yes, there needs to be an epic Isa/Lea fight scene, and I hope playable battle. I want to see Lea's outfit design in the next games, I'm hoping he ditches the coat. 1 Xian Cano reacted to this
Rhiscx 54 Posted August 11, 2012 Agreed. I can kinda get why he kept it for this game, since he had more important things to worry about than how he looked, but for the next one, it's about time for him to shed the last sign of his allegiance with the Organization. C'mon now, Nomura. 2 Crown Unlimit and Xian Cano reacted to this

C'mon now, Nomura. The cloak is universally used as protection against darkness not bc one is in the organization neccessarily. They just needed it bc they were nobodys and were very much in danger coming into contact with too much darkness for fear of being swallowed up in it .. Mickey, Riku, and Ansem the Wise also used it . @ Topic .Ive been saying this forever now . Isa vs Lea in kh3 .Believe it. 2 Marley_Aqua_33 and hatok reacted to this
Kirux 1,224 Posted August 12, 2012 I wonder if Lea is going to have any sort of rivalry with Riku for Sora's attention, seeing him as Roxas and all.

Kirux 1,224 Posted August 12, 2012 I want to know how he used the dark corridors, to be honest. And why did mickey seemingly know he was going to show up?

When he was in Ansems Study searching he saw that info about using them on the wall As for Mickey , when at the end ? 1 Xian Cano reacted to this

Kirux 1,224 Posted August 12, 2012 It was more of the fact that he said it so nonchalantly. Like he knew Lea was going to show up eventually, but not there and then.

Kirux 1,224 Posted August 12, 2012 Mickey did not expect lea to show up right then and there, no, but the way he said it, in my opinion, made it seem like he was expecting to Lea at some point. I mean, Mickey even addresses his use of the dark corridor before even saying that quote. He was unphased by seeing Lea again, but surprised he came to rescue them. Kirux 1,224 Posted August 12, 2012 I just want to know how Isa eventually became Xehanort's vessel and his descent into the darkness. Well I'm positive it happened during Days, hence the cutscene with Axel and himself where Axel tells him he's changed.

Saying that he didn't expect him sounds more badass I guess.... On a more serious note, Mickey learnt about how MX had been brought back after his nobody and heartless was defeated. The possibility of org. members returning as well is something that must've struck his mind back then.
Kirux 1,224 Posted August 13, 2012 To me, Mickey and Yen Sid know a lot of things (to the point they seem omniscient) they don't tell *anyone* else, and it's caused some stupid things to happen. I mean, Mickey doesn't even mention Terra, Aqua, and Ventus until DreamDrop...you'd think maybe rescuing them would be on his list of things to do (and not decoding Jiminy's busted ass journal). This infers that he totally forgot they existed, which is horrible.

This infers that he totally forgot they existed, which is horrible. Mickey does say he "couldn't find a way to save them" in DDD, but I feel he didn't try that much... And I agree with the Lea/Isa fight scene. I wish everything would turn out fine between them though. Edited August 13, 2012 by Ritinha
