Rhyme 0 Posted August 11, 2012 Okay, I wanna try and make sense of this. Ansem SoD goes back in time, talks to YMX about future, gives him time travel, okay. YMX goes forward in time and collects everyone. Question time. 1. What bodies were left behind? 2. Why? What was a good reason to gather everyone at that point? Just to watch MX revive? It couldn't have been for Sora, EVERYONE wasn't needed for that. 3. Why gather the darkness' now and not wait until the battle? How are they gonna be re-gathered later? 4. If everyone is gonna forget when they go back to their time, what does this game really change other than Sora and co. finding out the Master Plan? Namikaze 654 Posted August 11, 2012 time travel was just a way to fill in plot holes that they couldn't have explained
Henne 150 Posted August 11, 2012 1. Ansem SoD's. He just gave it to his younger self so that YX could have a... body. 2. I guess, Xehanort needed his other selves in oder to play mind games with Sora and Riku. That makes it easier to manipulate him. 3. Time travel all over again? 4. I bet within in the next (few) games we will hear that the future/past can be changed - YX said himself that he will lose the memories but they will still be in his heart. So, I guess, if Sora and co find something reaaaally, uh... hearty YX can and will somehow "remember" it...
Rhyme 0 Posted August 11, 2012 There's no logic I guess I could understand the body thing, and Ansem being able to go back without leaving anything, being a heartless...but time travel again to reunite the darknesses for KH3? They're all going back to their respective timelines after 3DS to basically be destroyed, so you would have to collect them like the first time, changing time by pretty much making 3DS not happen, breaking a rule since time will be altered o.O And even if YMX remembers, the others won't... keystrike 145 Posted August 11, 2012 I couldn't agree more about gathering the thirteen darknesses only to have to gather them again, but the time travel thing makes a bit more sense of you think of it as traverse time in dreams and dreams in time (ie dream of a world in the past and the traverse the dream to the real world at that time). I have a theory about it here: http://kh13.com/forum/topic/39387-how-xehanort-spoilers/
VanitasTheBest 196 Posted August 11, 2012 Okay, I wanna try and make sense of this. Try as hard as you can, Time Travles always make a paradox. Nobody can make sense of Time Travels, Nomura isn't an exception 1 teh lazy prince Xylek reacted to this
HarLea Quinn 26,501 Posted August 11, 2012 Personally i hate when time travel is brought into a plot .I downright despise it . But i guess i'll deal with it ...At least im still dying to know what happens in KH3. 1 Remains of Old reacted to this

Spectrum of Life 188 Posted August 11, 2012 (edited) Okay, I wanna try and make sense of this. Ansem SoD goes back in time, talks to YMX about future, gives him time travel, okay. YMX goes forward in time and collects everyone. Question time. 1. What bodies were left behind? I don't remember that part, to be honest 2. Why? What was a good reason to gather everyone at that point? Just to watch MX revive? It couldn't have been for Sora, EVERYONE wasn't needed for that. Backup in case resistance showed up. Why all 12 didn't attack....umm......Plot Armor. 3. Why gather the darkness' now and not wait until the battle? How are they gonna be re-gathered later? Maybe to corrupt them with Master Xehanort's Heart Fragments. Some of them weren't originally MX, and if memory serves some of them weren't fully corrupted yet. Alternatively, If Sora was assimilated they could start wreaking havoc immediately, since the main force of resistance (The 7 guardians) would be missing their most important asset.and the Borganization could railroad their choices for guardians by destroying the best candidates before they're retrieved. There's multiple ways of Traveling through time, in all probability . (Timeless River doors anyone?) 4. If everyone is gonna forget when they go back to their time, what does this game really change other than Sora and co. finding out the Master Plan? Not much. MX now knows it's possible to summon himselves, at the least. That and he has to search for a new 13th member. Kirux 1,224 Posted August 11, 2012 Firstly; MX didn't know that they WOULDN'T be all joining together at the time. Lea saving Sora was NOT on his itinerary for the evening, and lea definitely didn't have a ticket to get in the door. Because he's plans were foiled, he's going to have to figure out a new way to bring them all together. Now what everyone fails to realised is that because time travel as involved that obviously means that The Doctor is the 7th guardian of light. And that's just not fair to MX. Also am I right in assume that MX is now reformed as his icky old self in current time KH?
Rob 5,571 Posted August 11, 2012 1. Ansem SoD. 2. To welcome the 13th member as mentioned in the game? 3. So the ending to KH3D can be dramatic? KH3 will answer that question. 4. Sora is easy to kidnap?
Kirux 1,224 Posted August 11, 2012 (edited) 4. Sora is easy to kidnap? Heck yes he is. I'm pretty sure that boy would fall for the free candy painted on a van trick. Edited August 11, 2012 by Kirux
