SnowpointQuincy 11 Posted August 10, 2012 The whole point of this adventure when it began was to save 7 worlds that were lost to darkness, but not restored to normal yet. For some reason they are still broken, incomplete, or something that keeps them out of the realm of Light. But Sora and Riku never made it to the realm of dreams. They were inside Sora's Dream the whole time. Are those 7 worlds still in need of saving? Or did Riku and Sora restore the real Sleeping Worlds accessing the Real Realm of Dreams through Sora's Dream? Did this Adventure even happen? Were these worlds rescued by our actions or what?! Riku passed his Mark of Mastery and we all know Sora's ending in DDD. So im guessing it did all happen for real. And are you positive that DDD is all a dream? From Sora's point of view i mean? Because dreams are just a manifestation of our memories when we are sleeping. Sora never visited the worlds in DDD before so how could he ''remember'' them? Zanzetsuken 66 Posted August 10, 2012 Technically Sora travelled the Dream Worlds in the Realm of Sleep whilst Riku travelled Sora's Dreams. They were both still in the Dream Worlds, just in different grounds. I suppose those seven worlds are already saved since their Keyholes are unlocked. And so, they stopped dreaming and time flows normally then.

This is where it gets a little confusing and probably where they needed to be a little bit stronger on the story side. It doesnt really fit together and they threw this game together so fast that they may have not been able to explaine this. I think the point we are ment to see its that somehow even though Riku was in Sora's dream he was unlocking the keyholes of Sleep and gained the power to wake a sleeping heart. Which is why he passed. I know it doesnt quite fit but maybe it will be explained later?
AnsemTheWise 1,114 Posted August 10, 2012 The way I'm seeing it was that Sora was in the realm of Dreams, doing all his chizz like Yen-Sid wanted him too. Riku, though, was in Sora's dreams, thus he was visiting the same worlds that Sora was. I didn't really give it much thought until now, but that is too confusing. It makes sense of you don't think about it.
keystrike 145 Posted August 10, 2012 It makes sense if you think of dreams weaving together the sleeping worlds. So basically Sora's dreams were extending the realm of sleep.
Bigbadcloud 12 Posted August 10, 2012 think of it as This Soras in the dream realm wile Riku dived inside sora at the same time both partys are seeing the same things but diffrent angles.Sora sees the dream realms the way it is sapose to riku sees the realms how sora sees it the same thing but diffrent effects take trons world for exaple Sora when first entered the wold got takken captive by the guards but ran away this inturn met qurra and she never got captured by rinzler no riku disded not to run away and staid and see what unfloded witch inturn got qurra hert making her get fix and cooky to lead to rinzler captureing her. SnowpointQuincy 11 Posted August 10, 2012 Going to the real Realm of Dreams makes enough sense. How else would you get to the Realm of Dreams other than dreaming... time travel? If they did save seven worlds from darkness, I think the resurection of Seven Planets would come with a little more pomp and circumstance. (I think they should rewrite a lot of these games. To smooth out all the weird edges and retcons. And stop putting all of the "this is what really happened! Fooled You!!" stuff at the verry end. Starving the player of information, and then info dumping in the last 10 minutes makes everthing hard to get.

Rikuoblivion2344 5 Posted August 10, 2012 I think this would be my best and most plausible guess at it: when you dream you get transported into the sleeping worlds or whatever they are called, so Sora went in through Yen Sid's magic but riku instead went in through Sora, this doesn't explain the 2 different versions of the worlds but it is my best guess
schlosserm 8 Posted August 11, 2012 If exists so many worlds as stars, then are A LOT of others worlds fallen in sleep.... riku has a lot of work to do This 7 worlds are free from the slumber i think
