Even though Alexander was busy with this Dr. Fraken Stein guy, who was apperently the mastermind behind all of their current deformities, Riliane just decided to give him the information he was asking, just so she could go somewhere where Alexander WASN'T. But until he had asked when their birthdays were, she had totally forgotten that this was the day she turned 16.

This was easily the WORST birthday in the world. No competition. At all.

She sighed and looked at Alexander. "My name is Riliane Shiki. And my birthday is today, actually. And as of right now, I'm 16." she said matter-of-factly. "Now is that all the information you needed?" She had quite a bit of harshness in her voice, which was totally new for her. She didn't know if the change in her disposition was because of the current situation, or if the doctors had messed up her brain more than they had originally intended.

Alexander wrote it down and stared. "Today is your 16th birthday?"Alexander stared. He then just stood there blinking for a couple of minutes. Dr.Fraken Stein stood up on his feet and turned the screwdriver on his head. "Why hello there Riliane. My you look better in person than the paper itself."Dr.Fraken Stein says. He offered his hand for a shake. "I am the one who designed you and everysingle one of you freaks. I watched over the operations too. Yours was truely pretty difficult. We had to tweak you here and there. But look at the finishing protect."Dr.Fraken Stein says as he petted her. He then turned to Skye. "You too. Oh look at you."Dr.Fraken Stein says as he played with his ears. Alexander looked foward. Still. "Now where are the twins? I want to see them. I want to make sure their stitches are strong. We don't want to see them split appart while they scream or anything do we?"Dr.Fraken Stein says. Alexander blinked a few times and threw the notebook in the air. "BIRTHDAY PARTY!!!"Alexander screamed. Dr.Fraken Stein stared at him. "Hm?" "A birthday party! That's what we will do today! We will celebrate Riliane's birthday! What a perfect oportunity!"Alexander says as he grabbed Riliane and spun her around all happy. Dr.Fraken Stein stared and blinked. Alexander letted go of Rliane and smiled. "We'll be leaving tonight at dawn. That gives me enough time to bake a cake!~"Alexander says as he danced around and away to the cooking carrige. Dr.Fraken Stein stared. "Be careful with what you put in the cake!"Dr.Fraken Stein says as he watched Alexander laughing like a maniac as he went to look for materials. Azure and Azura stared and anime sweatdropped as their 'captor' was acting crazy...this was starting to make them worried. The two then turned to Stampede,and for the first time in hours,smiled. "Thank you Stampede. We just hope we'll be able to survive then."The twins said in union. They then looked back up. "It seems like he wants a Birthday Party..."

Riline sighed, exasperated. She couldn't belive how much of a, well, freak this guy was. Alexander seemed just a bit too...over the top. And it annoyed Riliane sooo much. She didn't know if the whole birthday party thing was just him being insane, him being nice, or him just making fun of her. She assumed it was either the first or third option. She clenched her teeth and took a few deep breaths, then mumbled, "That stupid, psychotic, circus freak, needs to just leave me alone." Her small, black, bat-like wings on her back extended a bit, as if to try to make herself look more menacing.

She looked at the twins. "Does he get on your nerves too?" she asked, frustrated.

Stampede walked over to Dr. Franken Stein. "Hey, Frankencrazy, here's a question for ya...have you ever thought about going into a line of work that doesn't involve deforming people, maybe got to veterinary school?" asked Stampede. Jaws was just standing a good distance away after talking to the new girl. "Ya know, sometimes i think he's just overconfident about his skills, still, he's a pretty nice guy, once ya get to know my brother." Jaws said out loud. 'I remember the days we were just young teens, man, we had the best times.....one day, we are getting outta here, and we're not leaving any guard witnesses.....it's gonna be messy, really messy.' thought Jaws. Jaws smirked, knowing that he would escape eventually.

Skye grumbled, not bothering to exit the tent. He felt too weird, out of place. Sure, he was surrounded by others that shared his fate, but he wasn't used to it. All of this...it horrified Skye. But eventually he couldn't take it anymore. Things were happening outside, and he was bored and, -though he wished to be alone- decided to at least exit the tent for the time being.

Zaphak smiled in his cage. "A girl draws near...Oh hoh hoh! Special abilities....Zaphak senses it..." Zaphak laughed hysterically.

Felicia tuned her mind reading back in, partly to be able to walk around, partly to read people's thoughts only because it was a habit. She noticed Jaw's thoughts about a violent escape, and thought about it.

(I suppose I'm more into the stealthy eluding kind of escape, but hey, whatever works for you.) She thought in her mind.

She turned to Kathie. "So uh, what am I gonna have to do if I stay here?" She asked pretending to sound uninterested.

Danielle was standing outside her tent as he watched Alexzander announce they were going to have a birthday party. She hung her head and sighed. 'Great. Just what they need. A birthday party to celebrate them becoming monsters.' she thought. Seeing the girl she attacked with water made tears well up in her eyes. 'Her looking like that is my fault.' she thought. 'If I would have just helped her escape, this wouldn't have happen.' she looked away and wipped her eyes. It was never easy for her to see the newbies, but for her to think that one becoming one because of her made her want to cry. She looked into a mirror and tried to fake a smile. Turning back outside, she walked towards the girl. Coming to stand beside her she frowned, close to tears again. "Um, hi. We didn't really met before." she said hesitantly extending her hand out. "I'm Danielle, and I can control water."

Azura and Azure looked up at Riliane and shrugged. "Well yes,we are pretty angry with him."Azura says. "Furious actually."Azure says. The two then anime sweatdropped. "But his crazyness has us more scared than the rest of the feelings we're feeling right now."The twins said in union. The twins then saw as the water controler walked in. Azura's eyes seemed to sparkle as she waved at her. Azure rolled his eyes and then pulled on his sister's cheek. "Hey!"Azura says. She then pulled on Azure's cheek. "That hurts,let go!"Azure says. "Not until you let go!"Azura says as the twins,even though from now on were sharing one body,continued to act as themselves. Dr.Fraken Stein simply smoked on his cigerate. "That would be a considerable option,Stampede. But seeing those four legged creatures,waving their tails and doing their calls. It makes me want to unite a few of them together to see what I can come up with on the spot~"Dr.Fraken Stein says. He smoked a bit more. "And then there's you. You're sincerely one of my favorite desighns. Such majesty."Dr.Fraken Stein says as he smoked some more. He then turned and saw Skye walk up to the group. "Why hello there. You seem to be calmer than everyone else with your changes. That's great."Dr.Fraken Stein says. He then turned and saw the twins pulling their cheeks. "Hey,knock it off you two."Dr.Fraken Stein says. He then gave a very creppy and dark smirk. "Unless of course,you would let me do a few more 'adjustments' to you."Dr.Fraken Stein says as he took out a scalpel out of nowhere. The twins freaked and started to shake as they hugged eachother. Dr.Fraken Stein lowered the scalpel. "That's more like it."Dr.Fraken Stein says. The twins then turned to Riliane,Skye,and Danielle. They looked at eachother and then back at them. "Well...I don't think we have properly introduced either..."Azure says. "I'm Azure."Azure says. "And I'm Azura."Azura says as she made them give a bow. Azure glared. "Don't bow! That's a girl thing!"Azure says. "Well escuse me but last time I remember is a unisex thing! Besides,we're wearing a dress!"Azura says. "Wait,WE'RE WEARING A DRESS?!"Azure asks frantic. Suddenly the doors slammed open to show Alexander with a chef's hat,a white apron,and lots of decorations in his hands. "We'll take this chance to introduce the newbies to our world! Is a perfect bonding excersise too!"Alexander says as he spun around and started getting party hats on everyone's heads. He then handed Dr.Fraken Stein lots and lots of bows to hang around. He handed the twins laces and decorations. He then handed Stampede a bag filled with baloons. "You and your brother are incharge of the ballons. Speaking of which,JAWS,WHERE ARE YOU?!"Alexander says as he twirled away. Azura and Azure anime sweatdropped. "Is this nessesary?"Azura asks. Dr.Fraken Stein rolled by on his chair. "Go with it,it'll make him happy."

Kurai had been reached to the point were she was pissed off. She kicked Alexander's leg, threw down the party had and walked over to Dr.Stein. Walking around Felicia noticed that the people's thoughts in the circus campout were... Interesting. For Felicia reading people's thoughts, other than a way to survive, was also a form of entertainment, although after her experience with Kurai, thought it best to tone it down a bit.

She sensed that some sort of celebration was occurring, and decided to follow the thought path towards it. For whatever reason, the thoughts going on here was especially entertaining, and she learned from some of the thoughts that there was a pair of surgically attached twins here. While she found that a little disturbing, and the fact that her premonition of the experiments going on in the circus was confirmed had instilled a bit of fear for her own safety, she did not mind much appearance wise. She was blind after all, and looks were the last thing on her mind. If she wanted to she could concentrate hard enough to form an actual image of someone near her, but she deemed that too impractical and only used her abilities just to the point of knowing where to go.

She leaned on a wall and continued listening to the people's thoughts, and even smiled a bit while she did it.

Stampede walked over to Kurai's carriage. "Hey Kurai....you wanna talk about it....you need to vent, get something off your chest?" asked Stampede. Stampede always tried to get to know his fellow freaks, that way he could help with their problems, and to know what their strengths were, so he could assist them in escaping....he hated seeing innocent people harmed or mutated by science, he secretly had concocted an escape plan for six years with his brother, and they were planning to help everyone.

 

Jaws saw Stampede attempting to talk to Kurai. 'I hope we're able to help her, if anyone deserves the most help, it's her, and the new arrivals.....they don't deserve this fate.' thought Jaws. 'I just hope that our plan works....just a few more days, then we're gonna start our plan.' thought Jaws.

"No, I'm fine." Kurai lied. "Its just that tommorow, would mark me being a year here..." she sighed, flipping on her side. "I do not want to escape, if thats what your thinking." she laughed, pointing her index finger to the sky. "Alexader is stupid letting me roam out here..." she snapped, closing her eyes, folding back her wings, the looking sharply at Alexander. "Stampede, you wouldn't understand." she sighed, curling herself into a small ball, then reappearing in her cage. "I cannot believe that worked." Kurai mumbled.

Dr.Fraken Stein glared. "She's definately my least favorite."Dr.Fraken Stein says as he smoked a cigarete and rolled around setting up the bows in random places. Azura and Azure stared and setted down the strings on the boxes. "Well this has taken a massive side turn..."Azure says. Azura looked down at the mirror that rested against the boxes. She felt the stitches down. "(We'll never be normal...ever again...)" Dr.Fraken Stein setted up the bows. "Alexander may be insane and twisted. But he definately has a heart somewhere in that deep,dark,shell of his...I think."Dr.Fraken Stein says as he spun around a bit. He then sniffed the air and smiled. "Hm. Chocolate."Dr.Fraken Stein says. He then turned to looked around. He spun the screw on his head and rolled around his chair towards Jaws. "Jaws,aren't ya gonna help? You got the balloons."Dr.Fraken Stein says. He then turned and noticed a girl. Felicia. Dr.Fraken Stein suddenly gave his most wicked smile. "Why hello there."Dr.Fraken Stein says. He smoked a bit,images of what he could deform her as if Alexander allowed it running through his mind. "Alexander!"Dr.Fraken Stein says. Alexander walked in with a wooden spoon covered in chocolate and wearing mittens. "What?"Alexander asks. He then turned to see Felicia. Alexander smiled. "Why hello there. What's your name?"Alexander asks.

"I would understand, i've been in this circus for six years, and in that time, i've had my fair share of run ins with Alexanders bad side, and in that time, i've eaten more guards than i care to count....but we'll need you for our escape plan, me and Jaws have been working on it for six years.....i understand the hardships here more than you know, and that's why i stick around, to help others through it....and above all, keep their hopes alive.....i can help you." said Stampede. Stampede hated to admit it, but he actually cared about what happened to the people at this circus. Jaws was the only one who really knew, and he made a vow to keep it quiet. The two brothers kept all of their secrets about each other, with each other, and they hoped nobody would notice that, with their new personalities, they hated showing anything but courage and ferocity.

Riliane saw the decorations in Alexander's hands. "You're kidding, right?" she scoffed. This place was getting stupider by the minute. She couldn't believe she actually got caught up in all of this. If only she hadn't... Wait... The girl who had just come up and introduced herself. Danielle. That was the girl she met last night. And if that girl hadn't confronted her, Riliane might've just left the circus before even being caught. She wouldn't have been caught...

Riliane turned to Danielle and gave her a very fake, sarcastic smile. "Well, hi there." she said in false cheerfulness. "I suppose you DO remember me, don't you. Actually, I'm a bit surprised you still would recognize me. I had a bit of a rough night." She lost the fake smile, which turned into a scowl. "But I guess it was just that you needed some more freaks for the family, right?" She extended her small wings, emphasizing the word 'freak'.

Felicia's smile faded, and although Dr. Frakenstein and Alexander were on either side of her, she simply looked forward, with her eyes wide opened.

She would've asked Alexander, 'What's it to ya?' but she already knew after doing a quick scan of his thoughts. Alexander was the ringleader.

Something that scared her more than Alexander was Dr. Frakenstein, who was thinking of ways to deform her, and who she realized was the one deforming people in her premonition.

"F-f-Felicia..." She stuttered, still looking forward and away from Frakenstein or Alexander.

Danielle dropped her hand and shook her head. "No, I'm so sorry about that. I didn't mean for you to get caught. I feel terrible about what happened. This is all Alexzander's fault. All him. I don't go around preying on children." she shook her head slower this time. "If you don't want to talk with me, fine. I understand. I was just trying to be friendly and make you feel at least a little welcome here." Danielle sighed and turned. She started walking back to her tent. She felt hurt. 'I didn't mean for this to happen. I don't WANT this to happen. Not to anyone.' she fought back tears as she sat on her bed and started forming Alexzander with water, making him stab himself with his water cane.

Alexander smiled. "Felicia. That's a lovely name."Alexander says as he waved his wooden spoon. Dr.Fraken Stein smirked real big,licking his lips. Alexander smacked Dr.Fraken Stein on the head. Alexander then looked back up at Felicia. He noticed her eyes. "My my. You're blind."Alexander says,stating the obvious. He stared down at her and his covered eye started to glow slightly. He turned to Dr.Fraken Stein and handed him the spoon. "Mix the batter and pour it. I'll get the icing ready when I'm done here."Alexander says. Dr.Fraken Stein whined. "Fine."Dr.Fraken Stein says as he rolled away. Alexander grabbed the girl's hand delicately. "Your hands are so delicate. Tell me,what are you doing around our Circus?"Alexander asks as he started to slightly lead Felicia away from the entrance and more into the center of the camping site. Azure and Azura looked at Riliane. She seemed very pissed. Extremely. Who wouldn't be? The twins weren't showing much emotion anymore as they already screamed enough when they woke up sewed up to eachother. Azura turned to Azure. "I don't even know what to do anymore."Azura says. "Well,I don't know either,sister..."Azure says. He wanted to help Riliane feel a bit better,someway. But he felt that it was better to leave her alone.

Riliane kept her scowl going until Danielle had left. But at that point, Riliane dropped to her knees and started quietly sobbing (with her eye that wasn't gone.). She hated how much of a jerk she'd been to Danielle. 'I shouldn't be blaming her! It's my fault for being back there anyway! She didn't want Alexander to catch me.' she thought to herself. She looked over at Azure and Azura and thought, 'Gosh, I'm so freaking pathetic! They've got it MUCH worse than me and here I am, crying like a total idiot!' But she couldn't stop crying, even if she wanted to. She'd always had to totally cry herself out before she ever would stop. But didn't she have a right to cry? Wouldn't anyone? "I don't know what to do...!" she sobbed, holding her hands pressed to her face. "I don't know..."

Felicia started to feel a little comfortable being around Alexander, although something deep down told her not to trust him entirely.

She was afraid to say anything else, and was considering telling him about her abilities.

(what is going on?) she thought. (I feel like I can tell him anything, but I don't want to...)

"I... I wanted to see the circus," She answered Alexander. "And, and I ended up here."

Azura and Azure stared as Riliane broke down. "Miss Riliane."Azura says. Azure stared and looked to the side with a glare. He then freaked as Azure knelt down next to Riliane. Azure glared at Azura,and received a glare back. Azura had an expression that said 'We have to do something'. Azure scoffed. He looked to the side for a bit and then looked back to Riliane. He then started to think of the situation the 4 of them were in along with the rest of the Circus. They had just beed kidnapped,deformed entierly,and they would probably never see their parents again,neither fit into society without getting experimented on or screamed at. Azure stared at Riliane. "Hey,there there...um..."Azure says,trying to find the right words. His sister quickly spoke after him. "Let it all out. We're all here the same way...do not worry,you won't have to go through all of this alone. We'll be there to help you as we all get through this..."Azura says. Azure stared. "What she said...don't worry,you're not alone."Azure says. Azura then hugged Riliane. Azure whined and hugged Riliane as well. Azure,being a boy,wasn't very comfortable. But considering the situation,he would let his feelings aside. Alexander chuckled. "Well 'seeing' is gonna be a bit hard for you isn't it?"Alexander says as he laughed. She was blind after all. Alexander smirked and looked at Riliane. "So,do you do anything special with that blindness of yours?"Alexander asks. This was usually how it went for him: If they had a special ability,like Zander and Danielle,they wouldn't be deformed. If they didn't had anything special,they would be deformed. If they had normal abilities like singing or dancing...they would still be deformed.

Riliane wiped the tears from her eye and looked up and smiled at Azure and Azura. She took a few deep breaths and finally said, "Thank you..." She saw that Azure looked a bit awkward in the situation. She grinned at him and ruffled his hair a bit. "I'm sorry about that little display." she said to both of them, dropping her gaze to the ground. She stood up and brushed some hair out of her face. She noticed that her hair was shorter, and quite a bit lighter in color. White actually, or maybe silver. Gotta love Dr. Fraken Stein...

Riliane cleared her thoughts and hugged Azure and Azura. "...Thanks. I just...lost hope I guess."

When Felicia heard the circus procedures, her heart began to race. Sure she wasn't judgmental on looks, but the mere thought of being experimented on and not seeing what was going on, not being in control, scared her.

"I'm psychic!" She finally blurted out. "I read minds, have premonitions, and can manipulate people's thoughts, make them see or do what I want them to see or do." She turned away from Alexander, feeling defeated, and considering pulling her hands away from him, although hey didn't move.

"I get around using my gift. I can use other people's thoughts to get around."

She turned to Alexander again.

"I had a vision about about what you guys do here. Please don't deform me.... Please..." She uttered desperately.

Azura looked at Riliane with a soft smile. Azure simply stared with an akward expression. Alexander smirked. "Psychic...you and I are pretty alike. I am not psychich,but my abilities are a little...similar when it comes to sense people."Alexander says as he patted her head. He tapped his fingers on Felicia's head. "I might be able to use this power of yours. It is simply fascinating...I won't deform you. But only for you to do me a favor,and lure people in when I find perfect subjects to join us."Alexander says as he grabbed her heads in a tight grip. "From this second on you are part of the FREAK SHOW CIRCUS. Your powers will come in help at somepoint,I have a good feeling for it."Alexander says. He grabbed her hand and dragged her into the campus. "You won't be alone,we have many children from your age..."Alexander says with a smirk. Not even asking her if she wanted to be part of it or not. "Everyone,attention!"Alexander says. Azura and Azure turned. Dr.Fraken Stein was busy in the kitchen. "All of you meet our new member of our family. Felicia."Alexander says as he tapped her head. "Please make her feel like home. She is your new sister."Alexander says with a big,dark smirk.

Felcia was so against the premise of kidnapping people and making them apart of this Circus from the start, and now in order to save her own skin, she was being forced to help out in bringing innocent people so that that Frakenstein fellow can do... Well, whatever he does to them.

 

There were many things that Felicia was feeling, and although the tone in Alexander's voice implied that she should be excited or happy, those weren't one of them.

Without even having to read any of there minds, she could tell many here hated being apart of this atrocity, and she felt it wasn't neccessary to mention that she was now going to help Alexander have his way.

(What would they think of me?) Shw thought. (They'd think I was a horrible person. I guess I am if I'm going to help this crazy man...)

She stood there looking down, her feeling of defeat almost oozing from her presence.
