lizzie1238 538 Posted August 4, 2012 (edited) Okay, so I just beat the game, and I have a TON of questions about the story. Here goes: 1. How did Lea get a Keyblade? You can't just magically get your own Keyblade, do you think Yen Sid passed his down to Lea (like Terra did to Riku)? 2. Why did Sora and Riku keep wondering if they were back in the real world, when they obviously weren't because they were still young? And when Riku returned to the rea version ofl TWTNW, why was he still young? And why did Sora appear older in the cutscenes in TWTNW? 3. How is it possible that Dream Eaters are in Traverse Town when Sora returns there? I thought they only existed in sleep, and Sora seemed to be awake. 4. Is there any point in that short scene where we see Ventus sleeping, or are they just reminding us he needs to be woken up? 5. Is Kairi the 7th member of light? Because she has pretty much no Keyblade experience and if she was going to help fight Xehanort she should have come along on the MoM test. If Roxas ends up becoming his own person, he would be a much better help. Or is the 7th person Lea? 6. What does Xigbar mean when he says "I'm already half Xehanort"? Is this why he has yellow eyes, and possibly Saix too? 7. Is there a secret ending, and how do I unlock it? I know there's a secret message, but there has to be a secret ending too, right? 8. Why does Sora not question how the Organization members can be back when he killed most of them himself? 9. Sora promises to visit the TWEWY characters in their old world, so are we pretty much guaranteed a TWEWY world (Shibuya) in KH3? 10. In the credits, when the letters spell out "this leads to kingdom hearts" is there a "3" that I missed, or did they just leave us hanging? 11. How did Ansem/DiZ not know Riku's name?! NumberXIII.Roxas 64 Posted August 4, 2012 1. Yen Sid showed him how. Whether he passed his down or what remains to be seen. 2. Because having unlocked all the keyholes, it stands to reason that they should have returned. And Riku was still young because Sora was still sleeping, which kept Riku as a Dream Eater. 3. No idea 4. If you look closely, you see him smile because of Sora's happiness 5. It seems that way. She didn't come along at first because Yen Sid had no idea she could wield a keyblade. 6. Because before the organization, he underwent the Xehanort cloning process, hence the yellow eyes and pointy eyes since birth by sleep. Saix as well, except in the organization. 7. Yes. You need to get either 5 or 7 trophies for proud or standard, respectively, then answer all three questions correctly at the end, then beat the game. 8. He sorta does once, in Prankster's Paradise, when he says "Xemnas!? That's impossible!" 9. I think that was just Sora making promises he can't keep again. 10. Sora and Riku walking into the light makes the III. 1 Kishira reacted to this
Unreal 11 Posted August 4, 2012 (edited) 1. All you need for a keyblade is a strong heart, or someone performs the ritual with you. Yen sid didn't pass on the ability to wield a keyblade to him as far as we know, but he most likely did that for Mickey. 2. They kept wondering if they were in the real world because they had already unlocked seven keyholes; they were told that they would "wake up" after doing so. Riku was still young becuase he woke from his slumber but Sora hadn't (Riku was within Sora's dream). 3. Best guess for that... Sora probably just went back into the realm of sleep without the influence of Xehanort hence why he is in his normal attire? 4. That scene is there to show that Ventus is happy that Sora is safe (he smiles very subtly) 5. One assumes so that she is one of the lights (Sora, Riku, Mickey, Aqua, Ventus, Lea, Kairi) MINUS Terra, as MX states that he has two of the lights (Sora and Terra) on his side before Lea retrieves Sora. 6. Braig says that because he has one of the 13 parts of xehanort within hiim. We assume the same goes of Isa. 7. Yes there is a secret ending. That helps give background to no.6. For standard mode - get 7 trophies and answer the ending questions correctly (keep the idea of getting sorra back as your main clue to all 3 questions) Proud - Same but with 5 trophies. 8. He does. He's in a constant state of confusion because of it. 9. Possibly. 10. The 3 is formed as a roman numeral when Sora and Riku walk through the light Edited August 4, 2012 by Unreal 1 Kishira reacted to this
kristi-swat 61 Posted August 4, 2012 1.lea has a strong heart..and that's why..he is worth to wield it...and also don't you see at the end how everybody gets surprised? 3.what they experience I think it's true...I mean that the dream eaters really exist...Sora and Riku go to sleep to visit the sleeping worlds but what happens there is real 5.yes Kairi might be,that's why Yen Sid called her 6.bcs Xehanort has put part of his heart at Braig 7.yes there is a secret ending..to unclock it get 5 trophies on proud,7 on standard...answer the 3 questions correctly...the answers are 1.third option,2.second,3.second...and get all the gold letters at the credits 8.they aren't back..they're just from another time 9.maybe 10.it's up to us to think of the rest 11.he has pretty much forgotten everything bcs he has spend a lot at the realm of darkness p.s:not meaning to be rude but surely you haven't understood the story that much...even the previous ones I think ...some of these questions like the last one has the answer at the secret ending of BBS where Ansem tells Aqua he barely remembers anything...and even on this game...I still don't have the game and pretty much have understood it just by spoilers 1 Unreal reacted to this
XIIISwords 1,059 Posted August 4, 2012 Okay, so I just beat the game, and I have a TON of questions about the story. Here goes: 1. How did Lea get a Keyblade? You can't just magically get your own Keyblade, do you think Yen Sid passed his down to Lea (like Terra did to Riku)? Not explained. Maybe he had a strong heart and was influenced by his connection to Roxas. 2. Why did Sora and Riku keep wondering if they were back in the real world, when they obviously weren't because they were still young? And when Riku returned to the rea version ofl TWTNW, why was he still young? And why did Sora appear older in the cutscenes in TWTNW? Sora was still dreaming, even though he was in the real world. Riku was still in Sora's dream, even in the real world. Sora was probably older because of shifting between waking and sleep. 3. How is it possible that Dream Eaters are in Traverse Town when Sora returns there? I thought they only existed in sleep, and Sora seemed to be awake. Two possibilities. 1. Sora went back to the world of sleep, but didn't change clothes. 2. Sora has obtained the "Power of Sleep" and can bring Dream Eaters to the real world. Sorta like Riku in the last world. 4. Is there any point in that short scene where we see Ventus sleeping, or are they just reminding us he needs to be woken up? He sort of smiles. There's no actual proof of anything yet. 5. Is Kairi the 7th member of light? Because she has pretty much no Keyblade experience and if she was going to help fight Xehanort she should have come along on the MoM test. If Roxas ends up becoming his own person, he would be a much better help. Or is the 7th person Lea? I think it's Roxas. Kairi shouldn't be a 7th Light because each light protects a princess, and so she'd be protecting herself. 6. What does Xigbar mean when he says "I'm already half Xehanort"? Is this why he has yellow eyes, and possibly Saix too? They both have parts of Xehanort's heart in them already. Yes, that's that's the yellow eyes. 7. Is there a secret ending, and how do I unlock it? I know there's a secret message, but there has to be a secret ending too, right? The end has Riku bring the visitor to Yen Sid, but I'm not sure the criteria. 8. Why does Sora not question how the Organization members can be back when he killed most of them himself? He acted surprised, but yeah, odd reaction. 9. Sora promises to visit the TWEWY characters in their old world, so are we pretty much guaranteed a TWEWY world (Shibuya) in KH3? Not necessarily. Remember, Radiant Gardens was the FF character's homeworld in the KH Universe. 10. In the credits, when the letters spell out "this leads to kingdom hearts" is there a "3" that I missed, or did they just leave us hanging? The three could be the roman numeral of Riku and Sora walking into the light. 11. How did Ansem/DiZ not know Riku's name? That wasn't Ansem, that was Data of Ansem from before he met Riku. 3 Unreal, Pyrrha Nikos and lizzie1238 reacted to this

Kinode 3,056 Posted August 4, 2012 Okay, so I just beat the game, and I have a TON of questions about the story. Here goes: 1. How did Lea get a Keyblade? You can't just magically get your own Keyblade, do you think Yen Sid passed his down to Lea (like Terra did to Riku)? Lea had a strong heart, and with that strength, plus possibly his relation to Roxas, he was able to have one. He also needed it for a good cause, too. 2. Why did Sora and Riku keep wondering if they were back in the real world, when they obviously weren't because they were still young? And when Riku returned to the rea version ofl TWTNW, why was he still young? And why did Sora appear older in the cutscenes in TWTNW? Their being young does not mean they're not back. Yen Sid DID use his magic to change them back into their younger forms, so they'd only be back to normal once they came back to Mysterious Tower where they entered the Dream Worlds. The passages with older Sora were dreams. 3. How is it possible that Dream Eaters are in Traverse Town when Sora returns there? I thought they only existed in sleep, and Sora seemed to be awake. Since the worlds in which Keyholes were unlocked were connected again, the Dream Eaters are now part of the worlds. Traverse Town had mostly only spirits, though. 4. Is there any point in that short scene where we see Ventus sleeping, or are they just reminding us he needs to be woken up? It shows him smiling, so it's meant to show us that when Sora is happy, due to Ventus' heart being in him, Ventus is happy as well. 5. Is Kairi the 7th member of light? Because she has pretty much no Keyblade experience and if she was going to help fight Xehanort she should have come along on the MoM test. If Roxas ends up becoming his own person, he would be a much better help. Or is the 7th person Lea? The seven are Sora, Riku, Mickey, Aqua, Ventus, Lea, and Kairi. Roxas might become his own person, but these seven are all implied. Of course, Kairi might just be taught self-defense and Roxas takes her place, but everything points out to Kairi being the 7th. 6. What does Xigbar mean when he says "I'm already half Xehanort"? Is this why he has yellow eyes, and possibly Saix too? That means that from before that moment in which we first see Xigbar's eye being yellow, in BBS, he already has Xehanort's heart inside him. Yellow eyes means Xehanort's hear is in them. 7. Is there a secret ending, and how do I unlock it? I know there's a secret message, but there has to be a secret ending too, right? On standard, 7 trophies. Proud, 5. Answer the correct answers to Roxas, Ventus an Xion, as well as unlocking the secret message in the credits. 8. Why does Sora not question how the Organization members can be back when he killed most of them himself? He had already seen Xemnas, and said "That's impossible!". Seeing as he was back, the return of Xigbar wasn't nearly as shocking. 9. Sora promises to visit the TWEWY characters in their old world, so are we pretty much guaranteed a TWEWY world (Shibuya) in KH3? Most likely. 10. In the credits, when the letters spell out "this leads to kingdom hearts" is there a "3" that I missed, or did they just leave us hanging? The roman Numeral III appears when Sor and Riku walk into the light in the end of the credits. 11. How did Ansem/DiZ not know Riku's name?! He did. That was a nostalgic way for Riku to show that he was no longer "Ansem", that the Dark no longer lurked in him, but already his own self. The question was more like "Are you Riku yet?" or "Are you still Riku?"
outbackjim21 83 Posted August 4, 2012 1. a keyblade tends to go to someone with a strong heart, and since Lea has strong feelings about saving Roxas and Xion i suppose he counts 2. Sora and Riku were still young because Sora was still asleep and even though Riku made it into the real world he was still a part of Sora's dream so he retained his younger apperance 3.Traverse town is a world that is tied to both darkness and light. so the realm of sleep and the realm of waking can coincide, though it is possible that Sora can simply summon dream eaters now from the realm of sleep (KH3 summon ) 4. Since Ventus is sleeping it is possible he saw the entire events of 3D and that was the reason he was able to save Sora from falling into darkness (but thats just a theory) 5. Nomura is leaving the entirety of the roster up to speculation, for now we can safely assume that Sora, Riku, and Mickey make up 3 of the 7 but after that.... it's up for grabs 6.Xigbar means that he has already taken in a part of xehanort's heart into his own he simply has control of his body rather than xehanort completely enveloping his heart. 7. there is a secret ending ( IMO it's not worthy of being a secret ending) but for standard mode you need to get 7 trophies and answer the three question at the end correctly , the correct answers having the word "important" in them 8. Yen Sid explained what it means to destroy one's heartless and nobody, but based on Prankster's Paradise i'm not sure if Sora still thinks of them as nobodies or not 9. Guaranteed a twewy world....debateable 10. well at first i thought by showing roxas, xion, and ansem the wise then Terra,Ven, and Aqua, that they were implying the number three, but after seeing Sora and Riku walk towards the light and making a roman numerial 3 im pretty sure thats what they were going for. 11. That was symbollic for riku's growth from KH COM to KH 3D. at the beginning of KH2 Diz asks riku his name, with Riku giving himself over to darkness he sees fit to take the name of the form he has so he responds to Diz's question with "Ansem". Ansem the wise never forgot Riku's name as that data Ansem was placed well after Diz met Riku. its just that Ansem noticed a huge difference in Riku so he asked his name symbolizing Riku's change. Ultima Spark 753 Posted August 4, 2012 (edited) 1. Compressed training session (and probably ceremony) off-screen. As to why it only appeared in the ending; "The heart must be proven before a Keyblade will appear in its master's hand", and the shock of seeing his other best friend possessed and fallen so far was the catalyst his heart needed to actually summon it properly. 2. Clothing/de-aging magic stays until they return to the tower. 11. Nono, he knew. It was a clever joke on Ansem's part. From Nomura: Ansem the Wise is an old acquaintance of Riku’s, why did he ask him his name in the end? Nomura: That’s what you could call a “wise joke.” (Laughs.) He’s purposefully asking the same thing as he did in KH2 to a Riku who had changed into Ansem’s form. Riku was still in Sora's dream, even in the real world. Riku was still acting as Sora's personal Spirit DE (and therefore able to bring the other DEs into the real world with him) because Sora was still sleeping, yes, but it IS the real world; when the logo appears, that's when he leaves the dream. The spiky orb outside of the skyscraper leads into Sora's dreams, there's a similar spiky orb in the cutscene where Riku dives in to fix Sora's broken heart. HarLea Quinn 26,501 Posted August 4, 2012 Guys its been confirmed in May 10 Famitsu interview with Nomura that Lea went to Yen Sid to learn to wield so he could help save his friends and travel safely to worlds since too much exposure to the dark corridors is dangerous.. Merlin then trained him in a special in between world where time doesnt move in order to train Lea in a shorter period of time. Since it takes time after a ceremony for a keyblade to choose you ( if it even would ), Yen Sid was suprised he was able to summon it as fast as he did 2 Robbie the Wise and Pyrrha Nikos reacted to this
