KHBbS Terra question (possible spoiler)

I don't really know if it's a spoiler or not...but I just got to the cutscene where Terra first meets Sora and Riku on Destiny Islands and the sun is setting. There's a part in the scene that threw me off.

Riku was staring out at the sunset and Terra's standing in the same spot that young Xehanort was standing in the beginning of the game. Terra looked over at young Riku and saw young Xehanort for a second, but then sees Riku from KH2 (long hair rather than the short hair he has in KH1 and as his young self).

My questions are:

1. How can Terra see Riku as all grown up, especially seeing as he just met him?

2. Why does he see young Xehanort and older Riku? (How can he know what they look like?)

i think this was a sort of premonition, as in terra sees that this young boy riku would have the same desire to leave the islands and be turned to darkness like xehanort, but then later would reform and turn into cool, nice riku of kh2

Yeah, that sounds about right. Terra had another premonition in a cutscene while he was talking to Master Xehanort where he sees some of the battle in the Keyblade Graveyard, which hadn't happened yet. Not sure why he can see those things, but he probably has a similar heart to Riku, and could sense the kind of person he would become, just like Ven has a similar heart to Sora's.
