KH3D Fruit Cat AR Card Trouble =(

Recommended Posts

Hi

I hope you're all enjoying Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance as much as I have been.

Just a quick question that I've been asking in my Status updates.

I live in Australia so, obviously, did not get the three extra AR Cards.

I've used KH13.com's scans to unlock Kab Kannon and R & R Seal, but when I came to Fruit Cat I didn't get the Dream Eater.

Its detecting the AR Card and comes up "AR Card detected"

But all it does is display one of the Dream Eaters in my party.

I've tried using different scans; same thing happens.

I'm trying all kinds of crazy things to make it work; but to no avail.

I'm aware that the AR Card is not necessary to get Fruit Cat, all I need is to find the correct Dream Pieces.

But I'm looking for an easier way.

Has anyone else experienced this problem?

&

Does anyone know how to overcome this issue?

Not true.

I've used the AR cards from the Mark of Mastery Edition on my Australian copy of KH3D.

Australia is using the North American copy of KH3D hence why the Mark of Mastery AR Cards work with it. Like I said, each region has a different design for each AR Card and the games are programmed to only recognize one set of pattern for each AR Card. I tried using a scan of the Frootz Cat AR Card from Japan, didn't work.

North America uses NTSC. Australia uses PAL.

Except Australia doesn't use PAL with most DS or 3DS games. Look it up. :

I'm pretty sure KH3D PAL version uses the NTSC AR CArds. I might be wrong. If I am, then I am.

I have. Lol. All our consoles are PAL. The DS may be region free, but the 3DS isn't. If you imported a 3DS game from NA it wouldn't work in a PAL 3DS.

Yeah the PAL version uses North American AR cards. It uses all KH3D AR Cards despite the MoM Edition not being available.

Mate, I have an imported game for my 3DS from Europe. It works because the PAL Region is Europe and Australia (and wherever else).

I think the AR Cards are meant to work from everywhere on everything. Not sure about the Japanese ones though

Make sure your screen brightness is well adjusted. Hold your 3DS over it for a while and try tilting it if the DE doesnt appear. I ran in to this problem, but I got it to work.

Okay, thanks. I'll give it a shot.

is happened to me too, I have the actual card and it gave me R & R Seal instead of the fruit cat and my R&R Seal card just displays the Spirits i have.

It is a pain in the ass, hey. Thanks

South America and New Zealand also use PAL.
