Jason rubbed the back of his head, visibly embarrassed. "Oh." He gave a sort-of-smile, and nodded at Natsu.

"Yeah.....it looks like what ever Sin came here to do...he accomplished. But this looks like the enemies camp.....why would he be here? Odd." Jason began to walk back from where he came, and motioned for Natsu to come along with him.

Rex figured that whoever was invisible was the one who hated killing, so he walked over to the thug and the one invisible, revealed to be Katie and placed a hand on Katie's shoulder. "Relax, you can put the weapon down, they lost, winning a fight doesn't mean killing all enemies so there are no more, the ones that get away, like the few that retreated after the rockslide, deserve to live and fight another day, if you take the life of this guy while he's incapacitated and unarmed, you'll regret it for the rest of your days, in battle, even when it's over, honor always prevails, if you don't fight with honor, odds are, eventually, you'll die without honor." said Rex. Rex then turned to the thug. "Get out of here, and tell all your scumbag friends that we will not stand for another attack like this, next time, anyone foolish enough to attack us, falls by our weapons." said Rex. The thug nodded, got up and ran off.

Natsu followed behind him. "Most likely He wants to kill us..unless he turns out to be good. In either case he killed that guy of over there." She pointed just left of her. "He looks to be the leader of this camp." She said. She shook her head she just didn't she the need to kill. "Sin took him out and with that anymore problems from those guys." She smiled and nodded.

Katie shook her head. She let the sword drop out of her hands. It landed with a clank. She was frozen, hands still in the air as if the sword was still there. 'What... What did I just do?!' she thought. She dropped to her knees and let her hands fall to her side. "Um... Thanks Rex. Really I mean it. Things got out of hand. I cannot believe I just did that..." she looked down at her hands. "I didn't mean too... I just... Blacked out." she said softly.

"It happens to inexperienced fighters, those who've both fought and killed for the first time, it has three stages, i'm guessing you already went through delayed reaction and sudden guilt for the wounding of a friend, and earlier you went through the most deadly stage, blood revenge, it shouldn't happen to you again, it only happens once to a fighter like yourself, i'm just surprised that i was able to snap you out of it so quickly, i guess that's because i got to you before the blood revenge stage went overboard, i went through the same thing in my first street fight, i almost beat a guy to death, but that's why i didn't go through it just now...but don't worry, taking the lives of the wicked get's easier over time, you just need to remember, by taking the life of an enemy, you're preserving the life of an innocent." said Rex.

Jason looked rather surprised. "The leader...by himself...? Wow. Something tells me that isn't a good thing." He thought about why Sin would do such a thing, and under what motive it would be directed from. He says he's a pawn. But who's using him? He appears evil, yet he helped eliminate the people that attacked us. He's near impossible to read. Jason thought, seeing the bushes and tree Natsu had been hiding under.

Katie smiled slightly. "That's a good way to put it." She said. She shook her head again. "I swear, I never want that to happen again. It's like, I knew what i was doing and I knew it was wrong, but I couldn't stop." She shrugged it off and stood. "Another way to put it, this place has turned us into survivalist. It's survival of the fitest." She began walking over to Zero with her hands in her bloodied pockets. "It's kill, you be killed."

Rex headed over with Katie, to see if his idea was helping Zero. "Hey, it's not survival of the fittest here, most of us come from different backgrounds, but i'm gonna tell you what i'm gonna tell everyone else, we have to stick together, only as a team, will we pull through this alive, each of us brings a skill to the battlefield, you with invisibility, Zero with his powers, me with experience, and the others with their sets of skills, if we stick together, we can make it back to our world." said Rex.

Katie turned to him. "How can you be sure of that? Were stuck on some piece of shiz land with people that try to kill us every second!" she turned and stalked off. Walking up next to Zero, she sat down beside him, instantly feeling less angry. "Hey bud. How ya feelin?" she asked him smiling.

I saw what happened and realized this experience was a first for everything to me. Is this what they call pain, and caring? I turned to Katie who sat next to me. "I feel.....fine don't worry........I'm use to it..."

Zephyr put her hand on Zero's shoulder. "Where watching you." she said, sitting down beside him, digging her sword into the earth, raising a rock to lock it in. "So were in a Survival Game?" Zephyr asked, standing up.

"That's what i'm thinking, but we'll have to stick together, that's the only way we'll survive, as a team." said Rex.

"Hey, if you need help learning how to use you're other weapons, i can help, i have experience in battle, so i'll be able to train everyone." said Rex. "Learning isn't easy, but it gets easier when you cornered like an animal."

"Thanks...." I remembered the wound that I got, it was still leaking some blood but it seemed to be fine. I tried getting up which was harder than I thought my vision was also very blurry....

Rex noticed that it was getting dark out, so he grabbed some pieces of wood and laid them out. Rex then snapped his fingers and the wood caught fire. "It's to late to travel anywhere tonight, we should get some sleep, i doubt those thugs will return any time soon...and nobody likes being cornered like an animal, but it does happen, it's then that your real fight or flight reaction kicks in, trust me." said Rex. Rex then sat near the fire to relax. "So, let's run through the skills and weapons we got for the journey, i've got fire and swordsmanship skills, as well as great leadership, not that i'll be barking out orders, just suggestions to help you guys survive, Zero here said he has a cannon of some kind, i saw it during the fight, so we have artillery, what do you got?" Rex asked Zephyr.

"This." Zephyr said, throwing her sword out of the ground as Palin came on her shoulder. "Zero, are you okay?" she asked, looking at Zero.

"Don't......worry...about......me." I said as I climbed the tree I was suited to sleeping in trees since it was regular for me back in our world. The pack of wolfs sat around the fire getting ready to sleep. The Death Cannon faded away from my hand and I wondered what would happen if I ever went back to them that would probably be my last day of living.....

Valentine petted her new furry friend, possibly her only friend. The bunny didn't leave her side, so he assumed it had grown fond of her as she did to it.

"It's not safe out here for us. There's people out there hunting and we happen to be their enemy." Valentine said as the bunny went towards the lance.

"What do you have there little guy?" She asked looking at the bunny it tried rolling over the lance, it may have heard her talk, and he came up with a solution.

"These lances may keep you and me safe, but I have no idea how to use it, or get out this fantasy."

"Lets's hurry it up. I think I see them but it's getting dark." Natsu said and speed up. "I hope everyone is okay. I don't like went people are hurt or in pain. The fact that it's most likly the way of things scares me...maybe this wand can cure people." "Jason are you hurt in any way at all?" She asked. The thought that maybe she could cure people with this wand of hers made her happier.

Jason shook his head as he kept walking. "No, I'm fine. I managed to stay out of the fight...though I guess the thieves or whatever aren't a problem anymore." He shrugged, and looked at the sky. It was nearing nighttime. "If there's bandits and such out here...perhaps that means we could find other signs of civilization our around this area.

Back within Oblivion, Sin returned to his usual spot. "They performed as expected. If all goes as planned...the corruption will soon begin to take root." His sinister smile returned, and this time, he didn't bother to wear his hood. His identity is now found, so there was no reason to hide himself.
