Do you think KH3D is the best Kingdom Hearts game yet?

I would have to say that it is a great game that I have played in my hands thus far,but it is not my favorite(yet?) because my favorite happens to be Birth By Sleep and I simply find the game better then 3D not by gameplay,worlds,abilites,or etc,but by the impact of the story and how everyone is waiting for the Birth by sleep from Sora

I prefer the original, since it's the game I remember playing when I was younger. I have a sort of soft spot for games that I had played in my childhood, like Resident Evil 3 and 4, Final Fantasy X, Silent Hill 2 and 4, etc.

The DS finally got a better than decent KH game yeah ik its the 3ds plus the worlds are much bigger than BBS worlds, and you get to flipping play with Riku with a keyblade!

Just kidding, well, sorta, I just have so much nostalgia for the first game. Speaking of nostalgia, KH3D is giving me major nostalgia trips, especially with Riku. I haven't finished it, but even then I think only time will tell weather this is the best installment yet.

About 9 hours in, I can definitely say it has the best Game-Play. I think that flowmotion being so emphasized in advertisements and interviews was well deserved. And not only does it make just getting around more fun, it is also essential to my combat strategy now. Plus, the command system is just a good system overall, perfect for the handheld titles. The Drop system can be annoying, but I like it in that it keeps me from neglecting one story over the other.

 

As for story, well, it certainly seems interesting so far. I am not sure if it will beat KHI, CoM, or Days for story in my opinion, but I think it has a shot.

 

My only real complaint about the worlds, is that now that they are so big, the lack of NPCs just makes them feel kind of empty. I never really noticed in other KH games, but it just feels so much more pronounced with these huge worlds.

=) kh1 will always be my favorite...I judge games on how much I love them based on their story, and KH1 and BBS did that.

However, 3D looks like, gameplay wise, graphic wise, and all that other crap MINUS story, it'll be the best so far.

I haven't played it yet, but what makes a KH game great for me is the storyline. I feel like the storyline of it is cool (from what I've seen), but it doesn't triumph over the raw emotion of BBS or Days.

In my opinion, the game ties in first with KH2, and I am only to Prankster's Paradise. My favorite world in the game so far is The Grid. I liked the way it followed the story of the movie mixed in with the story of Kingdom Hearts. I also like the way there is always a surprise in the gameplay, it gives it more depth. My favorite normal enemy is the guards in The Grid, they are more tough than simple dream eaters. The only thing that I don't like about it is the fact you can't talk to characters outside of cutscenes. But everything else about the game I like, if it weren't for KH2 having my favorite world of my all time favorite movie, The Lion King, I would make KH3D my favorite game of all time so far.
