KH3D Gamestop Rip-Off :'(

Recommended Posts

Oh my god!!! Okay so here's the chiz (can't believe im really usin this word) I'm a penniless high school student who can't get a job. So in

order to buy the M.O.M. edition which there are copies at my local gamestop that are not on pre order, I need to give up a few things

to trade in. The said things are: My PSP 1000 (I bought it just to play BBS), My memory stick, My copy of BBS, Wii Play (I dont really care

about this one), and Speed Racer the Game (I really have NO idea where I got this from) and finally My copy of LOZ: Twilight Princess. I

REALLY WANT THIS GAME!!!! I can't believe I have to trade in all this stuff just to buy it though :(. I dont want my mom to buy it since its

relatively expensive and she's gonna lose her job in a couple of months. I'm applying to different jobs around me, but I can't wait till I

actually get a job and get payed since summer (starting today) has only 1 month left and after that school begins. I cant play during schoo

b/c of parents SATS and chiz (I hate this word!!!) I really want to enjoy this game properly w/o any of the stress of school to happen along

with it. So yeah Also I checked this website that has info on trade in values of games + system

(http://forums.slimgamer.com/showthread.php?1777-GameStop-Trade-in-Values-List-and-FAQ-2012-Edition) and I'm 10 dollars short

too!!! Is the M.O.M really woth it or should I just get the regular edition??? I really want to buy this and itz like the first time I'm buying

something like this as well. If I just get the reg. edition then I can drop the LOZ: Twilight Princess. What do you guys / girls think?? Should

I buy the standard or should I try to find $10 somewhere and buy the M.OM. edition. I saved up fore this when I first heard bout this but

that fund quickly turned empty when I needed to buy something for my 8 yr old cousin's b-day. (I dont regret it much since she's an

awesome kid but FREAKIN EXPENSIVE though  )

Well. under the, situation your under. Honestly buying the M.o.M. edition would be a good idea.. I mean its selling for 130 dollars on amazon. I mean you could go on ebay and sell the extra stuff, in the case you dont really like it. Keep the game, and in the process make an extra 20-40 bucks. At least thats what I think :)

What really annoys me about that is, they'll make so much more money from you. Think about it this way: If your never going to use them again and you really want MoM, then get it. No point in them gathering dust for no reason. Although, I, myself however, don't think id ever sell my psp and BBS. It was the reason i bought a PSP xD

its really your choice. i mean its up to you. if u like the MoM edition more than heck get it! but if u dont play the games ure gonna trade in(except for BBS) then why not get the MoM edition? but still its up to you. if u REALLY like the MoM edition go ahead and buy it. but if u want to save money, then just buy the regular edition. theres no harm really. :DD hope i helped!! :DD

Look, all the M.O.M edition really is, is the game with art cards that you can just look up online. To tell you the truth I don't really think its worth it, escpially with all of the stress you're going through. Just get the game. :) that's the real experience.

I agree with this other than that there's no point in the M.o.M unless you like collecting stuff...

GameStop is expensive

Here in Germany at my local GameStop you can pay for used games nearly the same price as new games...but they buy it for only some Euros from you

and keep Twilight Princess

this game is too good to give it away

and I recommend to buy the standard version

you can get the AR-Cards online and the games you want to trade in (Twilight Princess and BbS) are better than some pieces of paper

Just buy the Standard Version. The Mark of Mastery Edition would be cool to get but, stick with the Standard Version. I would want to get the Mark of Mastery Edition as well but I'm broke too... And I can't afford a 3DS. So I still wish to get a 3DS and the game. I don't know about getting The Mark of Mastery Edition though.

This all the way, it'd be really cool to get the MoM, but it sucks to have to sell your soul pretty much to get it. TP and BBS are not worth losing IMO.

You're giving up all this just for the MoM edition? Get the regular one and save you LoZ :Twilight Princess. I'm sorry dude, it must be really tough for you... And you're even losing you're BbS? How come you have to trade even your PSP and still not worth for the MoM? How much is this one going to cost?

tutti frutti. As much as I like the KH series, I would have to say get the regular edition. It's not worth going through the headache, plus giving up the greatness that is Zelda. Plus I guess it would be more of a win-win situation without having all of that stress to get the MoM Edition.
