hatok 6,413 Posted July 30, 2012 Everybody goes around saying 'The only important part of Re:Coded is the ending' Now, why is that? There are a LOT of plot points in Re:Coded. Sure, they're in a digital world but why does that matter? This is Kingdom hearts. So I don't get it, why is everybody so sure Re:Coded isn't going to come back and haunt us? Ven983 490 Posted July 30, 2012 People say that because the game is basically reliving KH1, but I agree, those extra scenes they showed could come back, not to mention I am pretty sure that there was a scene in the japanese commercial for DDD where Maleficent is after the journal. I totally agree!
coolwings 1,546 Posted July 30, 2012 It may not be important but it was still a great game
dusk 910 Posted July 30, 2012 It had some important parts, but I just didn't really like coded
Kirie 3,489 Posted July 30, 2012 All games are important because people wouldn't understand the story
Rob 5,571 Posted July 30, 2012 Even though you're data, you can have a heart. I learned that important lesson.
HarLea Quinn 26,501 Posted July 30, 2012 (edited) Well i think its bc it recycled worlds .People complain about CoM for that too but CoM had new plot material ( and introduced nobodies !) when Coded didnt really except for a few small things. Also , you can get away with not playing Coded and still know whats going on in the plot with the exception of the secret ending. Decimo 243 Posted July 30, 2012 The one thing I loved about Re:coded is that it gave us some nice interaction between Sora and Maleficent and Sora and Roxas. In previous games they exchanged only a few lines even though they're such important characters.
Abyss 13 Posted July 31, 2012 To be honest, I liked Re:Coded at first, since I didn't get to play the first KH myself, and I felt it was nice to be able to have even a little bit of that experience... but for me, the worlds got really, really repetitive; The storyline felt rather flat and rushed, and it didn't take long for the data sectors to get annoying (since they were required) and the rooms eventually started repeating. I guess the reason why it wasn't particularly well-received was because it took a whole game for Sora just to say 'Thank you' to a digital Namine lol I will point out though that the glimpses of Ven, Aqua, Terra, Roxas, etc. got me excited, but I just felt that the game could have been much better if it were worked on more ^^
Weiss 8,279 Posted May 7, 2013 Data Namine: You must save TAV and Roxas, Axel, Xion and Namine herself. Also, Data Sora thanked Namine. He's already great. I won't be surprised when Re:Coded's plot points come into play. I'll laugh at those who said it was useless~
KHSonic 41 Posted June 22, 2013 Sora's Hearless. You know, the thing that people get when they have a Nobody. I think its pretty important to find out where that thing went and to know how it got defeated. Hasn't anyone wondered about that? It was bugging me till I played this game.
