Henne 150 Posted July 27, 2012 Just finished the game and that's why I have some crazy theories: YMX (was he even a master at that time?) said that a Xehanort from the future came and explained him what to do: This has to mean that this Cowl is another Nort than the one who possed Riku and thus is from a time... far away in the future, right? So, what I meant to say is the following: Aside from it's words does we have a real proof that that cowl was not lying at all? Is it really a... real Xehanort? Or is it something else... like the Guardian maybe? Fact is: It was with Terranort aka a "real human" and a heartless (SoD). So, even if if is a Heartless it cannot be a normal one. Plus: Xemnas showed us that we cannot trust every word that is said (nobodys, hello!) In short(?): I think that the creature that visited YMX and a few other Norts as well was the "Guardian". It somehow possed Xehanort during his journeys when he did stop using his armor to protect him and then twisted his mind. Really, I, somehow, cannot think that YMX is "evil". ...maybe it's his bishie-ness
MasterNahi 46 Posted July 27, 2012 That is an interesting theory. It is a bit crazy, and I've wondered if the "Ansem" in the robe is another nort from the future, too. Very interesting.
SquareSora 133 Posted July 27, 2012 this is a very interesting theory. i think that the man in the robe or cloak or whatever, is ansem but from a diff time too
Setrex 1,031 Posted July 27, 2012 (edited) I remember jumping when the cutscene between YMX and Sora on the Islands and they were talking about the guy in the robe and the camera turned and the guy was just standing in front of you. I was like, "ffffffffffffff don't do that O:< " Oh as for your theory it's interesting to say the least! I have never thought of it that way... SaintSationalWarrior 6 Posted July 27, 2012 Very interesting theory. I to have wondered if there was more to the "Guardian" than we currently know.
JTD95 1,107 Posted July 27, 2012 I don't quite follow your theory. The Xehanort which visited Young Master Xehanort was Ansem while he still was in his Heartless form. The brown robed figure is Ansem's original form. After he possessed Riku in KH1 he transformed Riku's body into something more suitable for himself. Well, if that's the case then why is this Ansem/whatever not the leader? He should because he must know everything.

Henne 150 Posted July 27, 2012 (edited) Of the groups of Xehanorts. The one who told them everything about their/his plan should also be the one in charge, don't you think? In this case the one who knows everything is also the one who planned it "first" and so connected the others - so why is the old Xehanort in charge? Would the cowl (or in your case the one who possed Riku) not know most of it? Edited July 27, 2012 by Henne

Would the cowl (or in your case the one who possed Riku) not know most of it? No, because when you think about it, it was Xehanort who planned everything. Ansem is a form of Xehanort and the only one, due to being a heartless who could travel back and therefore the one who did the first step. Each nort who did an essential part of the plan, did an essential part of the plan. There's no more to it.
Henne 150 Posted July 27, 2012 I understand that, but what I want to say is: Do we really know that the cowl did tell the truth?
JTD95 1,107 Posted July 27, 2012 I understand that, but what I want to say is: Do we really know that the cowl did tell the truth? What is this "Cowl" you speak of, and what would it be lying about?
autisticchild 0 Posted July 27, 2012 What even is the guardian, and why is it guarding him?
Smithee 327 Posted July 27, 2012 What does he look like underneath that brown robe, anyway?
JTD95 1,107 Posted July 27, 2012 What does he look like underneath that brown robe, anyway? Don't think there is anything underneath it. It's pretty much like the Soldier Heartless', it looks like their wearing armors but in reality its just their body.
