I believed it because i wanted it to happen. And I didn't care for FF13V so ofcourse I believed it was cancelled I didn't care about the game at all, I just wanted KH3 to come out. I can't see how you think it is such an "outlandish rumor" there were many rumors on which games would of been remasters. I just wanted KH, KH2 and KH3 all in one bundle, with the first and second in HD of course.

 

I want to get the ability to fly. Guess that means it'll happen.

I guess this is pretty much what I've been hearing from some other places and it's kinda true cuz the main people who want remakes are the people who have played the game and like it so if the wait a few years it will be like a new game. I don't know if they would make a profit from making it right now but don't get me wrong I still want a remake but realistically I don't thnk we'll see it for a while

 

there are kids who havent played the first two yet. kids who were born in this gen deserve to play it as much as we all do. they would get new fans i guarantee for kids its like an interactive cartoon with traditional cartoon characters the magic we all experienced with this series is what would bring new fans to the series this gen and many to come deserve it.

i would say CoM but its been remade before that and it doesnt really have the same importance as bbs has. bbs was important because it explains how it got to the point where kh1 starts if theyre going by importance to story that should be the three

Well, see, the thing is, KH, CoM, and KH2 are the first 3 KH games. Without CoM you won't really understand KH2. You can, but it's tough. I don't really know how to explain it beyond common sense.

the fact is Nomura only said he was interested in HD remakes it was never confirmed by him or square that it would happen. I still have all my KH games and I wasn't going to re-buy them just because they looked prettier thats a waste of money to me. If kids want to play KH1 and 2 they should ask for a ps2 for christmas or something ps2s are not that expensive anymore the cheapest ps2 I have found was 60 bucks, if you can afford todays games you can afford a 60 dollar system and KH 1 and 2 can still be found in gamestop binds easily and are right at or under 20 bucks and same goes for RE: COM.

 

To me a remake is iffy, since DDD is a bridge game that leads directly into KH3, just like COM lead into KH2, I think KH3 should be next it wouldnt make any sense to gives us a bridge that leads right to 3 and not give us 3. Its like if they had released a game in between COM and KH 2. to me the time has come for Kingdom Hearts 3 but all we can do is wait for TGS.

Except that CoM changed the entire course of the series. It doesn't really matter how much of the game one would understand without it.

 

But anyways, some issues with Namine are also answered in CoM, as well as one of the first comments from the organization referencing Sora defeating some of the other members.

I think it's possible for them to do an HD Collection. I would personally like to see KH1, CoM, and KH2. I lost my KHII game in a wreck I got into, so can't play that ever again sadly, and never got the chance to play CoM because I was still in highschool with no job at the time. As for KH1, my PS2 is missing it's power cord. lol

So I want the collection, and SE would pass it to a 3rd party developer anyways like every other HD Collection. So resources are not distracted from other projects they have going. There is no reason for them not to do it when there are games younger than KH that have gotten the HD treatment. I would love to relive being 12 through 16 again. lol

And before someone suggests I just buy a PS2 power cord or a new PS2 with KHII and CoM, just no. I would rather wait till they do inevitably make an hd collection so I didn't waste my money (even if very little) on an old system and 2 games. I have BBS, Days, and 3D to hold me over though.

Also, about the Tarzan deal. It is possible that they are not allowed to re-release it. It's fine that they released it already, yeah. But if they make a new product (HD Collection) and sell it for money (obviously), then they are making money off a game that has characters and a world that they do not own anymore. I am sure they could get around it somehow, but it could be a problem. Damn copyrights.. It sucks too considering I hated tht world anyway.

Still doesn't mean there won't be a small HD collection. It's only a Nomura confirmation away. He's hinted at wanting to make a HD collection enough as is.

It means no KH1 in that collection. That means a waste of time (for me anyway). Like I said though, there are ways around it if the other company is willing to comply.

And even if Nomura wants it, he still has to go through Square-Enix. To this day they havn't released an HD Collection, even though they are the masters of re-releasing crap.
