XtotheV 4 Posted July 25, 2012 My favorite was Final Fantasy 3 because that was the first one I ever played on the ds. The battles, graphics, and sound were really great for me. 2 rikufan25 and zephyrbreeze reacted to this
rikufan25 170 Posted July 25, 2012 final fantasy 7, because of its awesomeness, even now I still play it.
Iamkingdomhearts1000 1,170 Posted July 25, 2012 FFX since i feel more connected to it then any other of the FF main series games.
LightningXIII 310 Posted July 25, 2012 XIII. There are too many reasons for me to even describe!!!! It's my favorite after the KH series^^
DragonMaster 1,166 Posted July 25, 2012 Tactics Advance. Its the only turn based one I've played, has a decent story, plenty of races and classes, and challenging enough for my tastes. I've also played XII, XIII, and Crystal Bearers. XII was pretty good (second favorite I've played), but I found the battles to be a bit boring. Crystal Bearers was meh, nothing really that good (though the story seemed interesting, from the short amount of time I put in to it). XIII was also meh, I didn't like the battle system at all (it felt like XII, minus the moving your character part*), and Vanille's voice annoyed me so much (however, the story seemed pretty interesting). *At least, as far as I got, you couldn't (unless of course I was being clueless... but none of the computers moved either). I was only in about 2-3 hours though, so the battles may have gotten more eventful.
lizzie1238 538 Posted July 25, 2012 Final Fantasy X. I love the story, characters and everything about it. The gameplay is also one of my favorites in the FF series, because I hate the "active time" battle where the bar fills up, because I always feel rushed to make a decision and enemies can attack me while I decide. I like X's system where I have time to plan out my attack and strategize. And the sphere grid leveling system is a great way to level up characters. Now I've made myself really miss the game. I've borrowed it from a friend twice, but I was waiting for the HD rerelease to buy it for myself. Come on Square, release FFX HD already!
KissyFace 134 Posted July 25, 2012 Either X or VII. X was primarily because of the music, and for it being the first "up to date" Final Fantasy, I felt it changed the series on a level reminiscent of FFVII. VII I liked because of the intriguing story, and characters. Overall, don't really care much for turn based games, but FF is an exception. 1 lizzie1238 reacted to this
Jim 2,990 Posted July 25, 2012 I liked IX the most I think. I went into the game thinking I wouldn't like it, but it grew on me A LOT. Then that scene with Zidane and Garland gave me one of those "holy crap this game is awesome" moments. 2 Dave and Ultima Weapon reacted to this
Sorasnobody 2 Posted July 25, 2012 Final fantasy 7 of course because it had the most awesomest character zack fair and it was even cooler to see him in birth by sleep!

zephyrbreeze 8 Posted July 26, 2012 The DS remake of FFIII as i is the first final fantasy game I ever played and also my first SE game I ever played, without it I probably would never have gotten interested in KH in the first place.
RoxaSoraXIII 40 Posted July 26, 2012 Final Fantasy VII, because it have a lot of badass characters and an epic story. FF III is mu second favorite. I love it's simple story and the graphics are attractive *O*
Dave 5,715 Posted July 26, 2012 (edited) VI just beats out IX, because I think the story was tighter and more compelling, and I like Terra better than Zidane. However, IX gets mega props for making me more emotionally attached to the cast than most other games. It also holds probably the saddest scene in Final Fantasy history (Aerith be damned!) Zenithia 305 Posted July 26, 2012 tutti frutti. I know that Tifa would hate me for this. I would have to go with FFXII. Why? (There is a village made after Hugh Hefner)
Number XV 490 Posted August 5, 2012 Let's go back to a game called Final Fantasy IV. Not only is Kain one of the most compelling characters ever, but the ATB system is still being used, and I can see why it's a classic. 1 Ultima Weapon reacted to this
Dio Brando 5,810 Posted August 5, 2012 I was going to mention my favorite until I realize that the Final Fantasy Fanbase is the worst fanbase in history.......everytime...everytime I mention a game in the series they say: why do you like this game..you're an asshole for liking this game...you don't know shit about a real FF...you should hate this FF game............I was going to say Final Fantasy XIII & XIII-2 until I realized everyone is gonna bullshit me for my taste like they've done in alot of FF forums or regular gaming forums ..........I don't hate the FF series but I hate The Final Fantasy Fanbase......it's even worse than the Sonic Fanbase

Dark Memories 47 Posted August 5, 2012 Final Fantasy VIII, Crisis Core was the first one i ever played. I immediately fell in love with the story, its characters, and the music. So far, Final Fantasy XIII and XIII-2 are becoming a close tie due to the amazing graphics, and story line. ^-^ If i had ever played the rest, i think i actually would have fallen in love with each and every one of them. Daniel Black 1,981 Posted August 5, 2012 Im going with Final Fantasy VI, i liked all characters, the story, music... and of course the badass of Kefka the best of FF villains in my opinion (not the clown of dissidia, it doesnt get the tactician that was he in the original game ¬¬) ,Second FF7, (Aerith NOOOOOOO SNIFF) and third and last FF5 Exdeath battle was not Hard ... it was the next level X(.
