His body had stopped bleeding, due to his heart not beating anymore. His body began to immediately recognize what kind of wound it was, and began building back up tissues and other parts, not only making it stronger, but immune to any sharp weaponry. The hole in his chest began to slowly rebuild under Misaki's hands as his hand reached out to Misaki's, gently grabbing it. "Where... am I..." he seemed lost and confused, his vision was still dark.

Misaki's eyes widened.

"Ress???? I didn't think you'd......" she said crying of happiness. "The important thing is that you're gonna be okay." she said smiling at him, holding his hand.

Amelia held onto her arm as she closed her eyes, trying to get rid of what just happened. She was hit with a memory

"Ress, your alive." Amelia said in a tone quieter and more inoccent. She was tierd and just wanted to fall now, it was obvious...

Ress used his other hand, and gently grabbed Amelia's arm. His blood had two functions, depending all on him. "My blood.... will fix your arm in a jiff..." His blood entered her wound, and as it did, it closed her arm up like new, repairing and healing any damage that was done to her body. "Misaki..." his voice was very quiet, almost unable to be heard, "You need... any healing..." His wound wasn't exactly closed, but it was definitively healing.

"No, no.... I'm fine, thanks to you." she said to him, smiling.

"Thanks Ress." Amelia smiled, looking out the window. She closed her eyes again, letting herself fall into the darkness. She fell into an absolutely silent sleep, not moving.

Ress softly smiled at Misaki, and caught Amelia, letting her lay on his arm as a resting helper and pillow. "You should do the same... Misaki..." He rubbed her head with his other arm, that way he didn't disturb Amelia. Ress's eye's closed as he completely relaxed, making Amelia roll into him like a sleeping child, his face made him look at peace, his hand still holding on to Misaki's.

Misaki smiled, relieved. She layed down, still holding Ress's hand, and quickly fell asleep.

Shawn approached the dying Salem. It wasn't moving, but just to make sure it wouldn't ever move again, Shawn pointed his strange weapon at it and fired from a distance. A small blue laser came out and went through the creature's head. It's head immediately lit up in blue flames and within seconds the entire chimera caught fire.

"Hmm..Nuclear weapons. Pretty reliable".

Shawn looked around. The others had left quickly. He had arrived too late. And now he stood, in the building he had entered twice before. It had certainly been repaired since his last operation. Shawn put the nuclear gun back and pulled out a pistol. He decided to look around for anything that would be helpful.
