Lady Aleister 1,677 Posted July 25, 2012 Amelia's eye's snapped open, when she tried to get up, a sharp pain pushed her back down. She turned her head to see Ress. "Thank you. I'm Amelia, are you Ress." she asked.
Aziz 35 Posted July 25, 2012 He looked at her, his face just a slight less mean looking. "Yes.." he answered her. "Don't move.. You'll re-open the wounds.." he said with concern, but his low tone made it hard to tell. He took a wet, warm rag, then put it on Amelia's forehead, giving a warm relaxing feeling. "Why did you do it.." he asked her, in a more curious way.
Lady Aleister 1,677 Posted July 25, 2012 "I don't know, instinct? I can't see people die unless I lose my grip. Thank you though." Amelia said, trying not to move as well as she could.
AnsemTheWise 1,114 Posted July 25, 2012 "I'm sorry. I really am." Kathryn wiped the blood from the boy's eye, sticking her lower lip out in a pout. She stroked his hair back, her pout changing back into a cheery smile. "I didn't mean to hurt you. You understand... right? I promise I won't do it again. Promise." She leaned forward, kissing his forehead. When Kathryn leaned back, she sighed, dropping the head to the floor. It rolled into the shadows, stopping with a thud as it hit something. Probably the little bastard's body. She stood up, the euphoria that had overtaken her gone. The sun was still shining outside the window, but she didn't know what time it was. Kathryn took stock of what she had with her at the moment. One, two... wait a second. She moved across the room, reaching down for a plastic handle that pointed toward her. With a wet slop, she drew the knife from its temporary housing, wiping the bloody blade off on the nearby curtain. That made three knives. Patting herself down, Kathryn found a phone (her aunt insisted that she carry one), a wallet (probably empty), and the realization that her hands were covered with blood. And now it was all over her clothes. 'Oh well', she mused. 'Hopefully he had some detergant.' She found the laundry room, stepping over the young woman that lay in her way. That girl had a pretty face too, but there was no time for that. Kathryn stripped down, throwing her bloody clothes in the washing machine. She sat on top of it, licking her fingers. Aunt Robin would be mad if she came home with bloody clothes.
Aziz 35 Posted July 25, 2012 Ress nodded handing her some bread. "not much.. but all I have.." his arm was wrapped up, some blood stains from the throwing knives. He also had blood on his hand, though it was dry, it wasnt his, but actually Amelia's blood from her wound. "Use your arms.. dont move your waist.."
Lady Aleister 1,677 Posted July 25, 2012 "Okay." she said grabbing it. "Are you okay? Thanks for the bread." Amelia slowly took a bite of the bread, forcing herself to eat it.
Aziz 35 Posted July 25, 2012 He looked at her, handing her water as well. "your welcome.. and yes.. im fine.." he took a wet rag, then wiped his hands down, making them clean again. He puts his gloves back on, then stands up, walking over to the punching back on the wall, and began punching at it. The force literaly shook the house, every punch stronger than the last. After that, he began doing one armed push-ups.
Lady Aleister 1,677 Posted July 25, 2012 Amelia ignored him, she was not aloud to move. She drunk some of the water and sat the cup down. After she finished the bread, she carefully pulled up the cae onto her, hoping it would make her warmer. "Are you going to leave here and what are you even going to do? Im wanted by the army." Ameila said, looking on the ground.
Aziz 35 Posted July 25, 2012 He punched the ground, flipping to his feet, stretching his arms out and popping his neck. "So am I.." he looked at her, gently patting her head as he knelt down to her. "This is my home... and Im going to hunt... how I've taught myself to..." he looked out the window of the house, pulling out his pistol and grabbing a walking by person through it. The man was in so much shock he didnt even scream, "Money..." Ress spoke to the man. The man gave up his wallet, which didnt have anything in it. Ress slowly set the man outside, letting him go. Lady Aleister 1,677 Posted July 25, 2012 Amelia looked at what Ress did and hid under the cape. "I don't care if I don't have money, at least I still have life." she said smally, wrapping herself in the cloak, wanting to turn around. "Ress, why do us mad people even live?" Amelia asked. Aziz 35 Posted July 25, 2012 "To change...Amelia..." He told her. What he said practically didnt make sense at first, but he continued. "To change...the future that this mad world..... is being led to...with our madness.." He looked over to her, his eye's where full of determination, as if he was ready to leave, but he stood there, waiting. He then grabbed the bar above him, doing one-armed pull-ups. Lady Aleister 1,677 Posted July 26, 2012 "Okay?" she said, but not wanting to know what it meant. "Ress, don't leave me here." she plead looking at him.
Aziz 35 Posted July 26, 2012 He finished his single armed pull-ups, then looked at her. "Not until you heal.." Ress looked at her, then punched a wall, pulling out another gun. "Use this... better than Cross bow..." He tossed it to her, it landing on the cloak in her lap.
Lady Aleister 1,677 Posted July 26, 2012 "Okay, Whatever." she said taking the gun and placing it beside the cup. "Your quiet, why are you?" Amelia asked.
Aziz 35 Posted July 26, 2012 Ress didnt answer at first, just stood there. "Past problems.." It was all he said, or in this case, was all he needed to say. He stood there, then walked over and sat down in front of Amelia, staring at the ground in front of him, almost as if he was looking at something. "Keep.." he pointed at the cloak she was using to wrap herself up, still starring at the floor.
Lady Aleister 1,677 Posted July 26, 2012 "Keep it? Well you said so." Amelia said. "Were do you sleep?" she asked observing the area.
Aziz 35 Posted July 26, 2012 He pointed at the ladder, leading into the roof outside. He never slept indoors, for it was very easy to get killed if found in a room. He also pointed at the other cloak, which was slightly dirtier and slightly bloody, though the blood was dried.
Lady Aleister 1,677 Posted July 26, 2012 "Oh..." she sighed. "Sorry." Amelia apologized, even though it was not her fault. She looked out a window to see the sun was setting. "Almost dark." she said, even though it was of no importance.
AnsemTheWise 1,114 Posted July 26, 2012 'Almost dark.' Kathryn pulled her shirt back on, the fresh scent of Snuggle making her feel warm on the inside. Aunt Robin would be mad if she weren't home soon, but... well, you can't just leave bodies lying around, can you? Ten minutes later she was walking down the sidewalk, stuffing whatever she could get her hands on into her pockets as the inferno raged behind her. People were starting to run over to the burning house, and the fire trucks were going to be here soon. Maybe even the cops. Damn them. Kathryn ducked down an alleyway, making her way downtown. Aunt Robin lived in an apartment quite a few blocks away, and it would be dark by the time she got home. But it was okay. Kathryn had made new friends today, and she even had a present for Aunt Robin. The sudden realization of fish for dinner came to mind, hurrying her feet through the concrete jungle. Today was a good day, and tonight would be good too. The thought put a smile on her face.
itsamemariomario 107 Posted July 26, 2012 "Seek number 6.....? What is that supposed to mean.....?" she thought to herself. Pulling the hood over her face, she exited the alley and went back to the old building she was living in. Picking up the stuff she had there, she packed up and left. "Now somebody know I live her, so I guess I'm moving...." she thought to herself.
StarStruck 78 Posted July 26, 2012 hera roamed the city streets, a devilish smile on her face. she had her dagger out in case anyone came out from behind. her bow hung on her back, along with the case for the arrows. she walked past a dumpster, and plugged her nose at the terrible stench. she then walked past a few people, who smartly backed away as she pointed her dagger at them. hera came across an old rusty ladder, leading to the top of an abbandoned appartment building. looking up at the ladder, hera put away her dagger, carfully climbing up the rusty ladder. when she reached the top, it was clear, with a small streched out window on the ground. it only had a few cracks in it, and hera walked past it as she reached the edge of the building. sitting on the edge, hera looked at the setting sun, the purpilish sky slitely deliting her. a few birds flew peicefully past, and hera took out her bow and arrow, shooting one bird and delitfully watching it fall to the ground. "Almost dark." she said, even though it was of no importance. He looked at her, than looked at the door. "Where do you live..." he asked her. He pointed at the window, reminding her its getting late, an that he would help her get home if he knew where to go. He looked at her bandages again, seeing them not so bloody as before, "Before leaving.... let me change your bandages...." He got up, walking to the other room, busting a wall, then coming back with some medicine and bandages.
AnsemTheWise 1,114 Posted July 26, 2012 "Where were you, Kathryn?" Robin Day rushed to the front door as it opened, her niece holding a silver chain in her hand. The girl held it out grinning. "It's for you, Aunt Robin!" Robin took the chain, holding it up to the light. This was real silver, with diamond studs and- "Where... did you get this?" She asked, unable to take her eyes off of it. "My friend gave it to me." Kathryn answered, clearly satisfied with her aunt's wonder. "He didn't need it, so he said I could have it." "But it's-" She stopped, turning it slightly to see between the links. Was that... "Do you like it?" Kathryn asked, her 20-year old body trembling with juvenile excitement. "Yes, I do. Thank you, Kathryn." Robin thanked her niece absent-mindendly, snapping back to reality shortly after. "Why don't you watch some TV? I'll have dinner ready soon." Kathryn bounced into the small living room, overjoyed that her gift seemed to take off as she expected. Robin entered the kitchen, taking th ephone off of the wall receiver. She couldn't hear the dial tone over the conflict in her mind as she stared at the silver chain, the gleaming links coated in a layer of ruby blood. With a deep breath, she dialed the phone. "Yes, I... need an officer, please. My nie-" She stopped speaking when turned to see Kathryn in the doorway, her joyful expression melted into one of disgust and rage. She could hear the operator on the other end of the line just before she dropped the phone, the handset swinging down and hitting the wall. "Kathryn, I-" The girl was faster than she could have predicted. Kathryn threw herself onto her aunt, knocking the woman back bent over the counter. "Please... don't..." "Shut up!" Kathryn screamed, tightening her grip around Robin's throat. Robin gasped for air, reaching upward. She managed to wrap her fingers around a pan hanging overhead, pulling it down onto Kathryn's head. She stumbled back as the other pots and pans crashed to the floor with a deafening clang, but that wouldn't deter her for long. Kathryn marched forward again, muttering rapidly under her breath. Robin swung again, Kathryn grabbing the pan this time. She pulled it from her aunt's hands, swinging it back at its previous wielder. Robin fell onto the ground, reaching out for another pan when Kathryn brought hers down again. They were both screaming now, neither of their words intelligible. Mere seconds later, Kathryn stood up, dropping the bloody pan. She was breathing heavily, looking around the room confusedly. She knelt down, shaking her aunt's shoulder. "Aunt Robin, I'm sorry. Can we talk? Please?" Kathryn sat down for a minute before looking at the phone handset. It was swinging from the bottom of the receiver, tapping the wall. She picked it up, holding it to her ear. There was a voice on the other end, but she couldn't understand what they were saying. "I'm sorry. Aunt Robin's not feeling well." She hung the phone up, looking back to the mess in front of the sink. It had taken minutes, but the realization of what had happened was beginning to sink in. Kathryn took a step back, hitting the wall. She screamed, falling to the floor, her face buried in her bloody shirt.
