Is X-Play Prejudice Against Kingdom Hearts?

(Now, this is me rambling, hence why it is in the Random section...)

 

X-Play is a show on G4 that is all about bringing video game news and reviewing new games hot on the market (I use that term loosley because sometimes they're a few weeks or even months late to the party sometimes :P ).

 

Now, we, the KH fanbase (or gamers in general), know that X-Play is known to be very...uh... controversial to the rest of the gaming community, whether it'd be how they review games,or the antics they pull on their show to make it seem more entertaining.

 

I for one KNOW that these people are biased against Kingdom Hearts. Did you see the review for Re:Coded? Unbelievable. (I am aware that there is a thread on this site focusing on that, which i will comment on later)...

 

Plus, I caught them dissing the Keyblade, calling it a "goofy" weapon. I don't have a clip, but...I knew it was during a segment where they were talking about a Final Fantasy Versus XIII trailer. (I'm not too butthurt or anything, but come on....)

 

So...Is there anyone out there that agrees with me? Or am I just rambling hardcore? Leave your thoughts below.

It's fine that people don't like what someone likes, so what I'm about to say doesn't mean that. My opinion on X-play is they're very biased, honestly I think they get payed off. Whatever isn't a shooter, nintendo (the mario, zelda, and metroid ones..not system based), or a work from someone of similar nature, they give it a bad review with reasons that contradict the reasons that they give for say, a Mario title.

Just cause we like KH doesn't mean that everyone else will agree and like KH. It's all apart of life buddy.

Well. other than Attack Of The Show, they are the only thing on TV that draws gamers as their regular viewers, so...yeah i've been opt to pay attention once or twice.

 

I've never seen X-Play, but if they're being biased, then that's wrong, especially if they're supposed to be gaming journalist, I don't know if they're journalists or not.

 

Oh well, just watch their review for Re:Coded, man. Oh boy...you will be PISSED.

BTW, I don't know if I can find the clip from their show where they make fun of Re:Coded's title before they show the review. If anyone has any info., I'd appreciate it.

Only thing that bothered me was that he complained about it not being KH3. Other than that, he can mean whatever he want.

Oh yeah,,,,back when they were nicer...

 

But....what the hell, Adam?! Haley Joel Osment's voice acting as Sora isn't bad! It's good, I mean--uh--well, who am I kidding? The English VA's aren't very polished really...

 

They sound great in DDD, though! :)
