Johto- It was the perfect sequel, adding things but keeping it uncomplicated. Hoenn- A revolution in storytelling and great with contests, and an amazing next step foward. Sinnoh- A massive region that never ceased to amaze me with its depth. Unova- Modeled after NYC, a neighboring city. The story and region were revolutionary. Cons Kanto- It was just ordinary by today's standards Johto- The region seems smaller and quicker than others. Hoenn- Nothing limited in Pokemon able to catch. Sinnoh- Relied on old Pokemon to fully appreciate (e.g. Mamoswine, Gliscor) Unova- The Pokémon aren't as impressive as the other regions. So in the end, it might be 1. Kanto 2. Sinnoh 3. Johto 4. The reason I say Kanto and Johto is that Silver/Gold/Crystal are the only ones I thought was good since it allowed you to travel between more than just one region. I grew up with Pokémon, played practically all the games and watched the tv show and all, but Hoenn is my favourite. wayfinder823 477 Posted July 17, 2012 I mainly play Crystal and SoulSilver, so I had to vote for Johto, even though my favorite parts of those games are visiting Kanto.
