As far as what's been explained is that the worlds Sora and Riku go to are the dreams of the worlds that fell in to darkness...so I guess you could consider the dreams to be droplets from the world?

Dream is what they go into,distance is the distance there dreams take sora and riku, and drop is the action of dropping into another world.

idk but basically Sora and riku dream right? and how do they go to diff worlds in DDD? by dropping right? and distance refers to how far they fall into there dreams. make any sense?
