hatok 6,413 Posted July 15, 2012 None of this fancy 'individual hairs' business or anything. Just perfectly smooth, cartoony models, thank you very much! 7 Nohjx, Keyblade Master Xine, Hei and 4 others reacted to this

Khrulesbbs 574 Posted July 15, 2012 i perfer it being something more like the cgi openings 2 LightningXIII and Kishira reacted to this
Namikaze 654 Posted July 15, 2012 I don't think they would do anything too drastic. Cartoony is how KH should be. It is how we have watched and experienced Kingdom hearts for 10 years now.
Shana09 5,769 Posted July 15, 2012 (edited) But the hair give it some unique appearance. Id like the hair to be unique ty very much. Also an amazing outfit (KH3D outfits are amazing ngl) These models are nice though and Id like them to keep it. But id be expecting: More belts More pockets More Crosses (like Sora's cross thingamabob on his shirt) More zippers More bigger shoes Edited July 15, 2012 by Shana09
Ven983 490 Posted July 15, 2012 Please! What made this game so charming is the cartoonish feel and look it has, CGI style would change the feel of the games, and it wouldn't be for the better.
TheKingdomkid 1,194 Posted July 15, 2012 isn't that how they look like in Dream Drop Distance?

Dracozombie 4,554 Posted July 15, 2012 Man, if the in-game models can look that slick. *siiigh* Well, we can dream. We can dream... ... hey, DDD? Dream? Heh heh. Yeah. 1 LightningXIII reacted to this

In terms of design, yes, but these are promotional renders with dramatically smoothed models and better textures and lighting.EDIT: This should make it more clear. CrownKeeper13 688 Posted July 15, 2012 I agree, a little more detailed like some hair on the face and smoother edges, and perhaps Sora and Riku looking a little more manly. 1 DarkRealm20 reacted to this
Keyblade King 12 486 Posted July 15, 2012 Hm...now see. This is a problem I have with myself and the series. While I think that the game should played with the cartoon style to go along with the Disney style of most levels. I can't say that the CGI scenes aren't breathtaking and Square Enix can really do some amazing stuff with CGI. But, it wouldn't really be Kingdom Hearts if they did it without the cartoon style. I'm all for them continuing the way they have been with the cartoon style for almost all the game, until maybe the last cutscene or a few select special cutscenes which would look amazing with the CGI. 1 Xalaru reacted to this

Exodaze 491 Posted July 15, 2012 YES! Hopefully it stays cartonish on KH3 and not like those 3D-ish model.
Pyrrha Nikos 1,162 Posted July 15, 2012 cartoonish style FTW!!!!
Keyblade Master Xine 196 Posted July 15, 2012 This is what I want KH to look like, not like Advent Children.
Xalaru 445 Posted July 15, 2012 (edited) I agree this style suits KH more than the 'individual hairs' kinda stuff you mentioned, but I wouldn't mind KH being in the same style as the CGI openings/endings that we get for it. Doubt that'll happen though, and the cartoon-y...ness of Kingdom Hearts is how we all know it, so it probably should stay that way. xxClouDxxmoon 901 Posted July 15, 2012 You also gotta think, this might be the last kh containg characters in their younger form.

CardCaptorDeadpool 386 Posted July 15, 2012 If anyone's familiar with Ratchet and Clank on the PS3 I think Kingdom Hearts on a next gen console should aim for that! especially the last two Ratchet and Clanks! 1 Rob reacted to this
