Hm...lets think for a second here, if they stayed in the darkness, they probably would have...but...they didn't know nothing about her, and, of course, Kairi's "bottle of magic" appeared right in front of them.

 

So, they could have, but they knew nothing about her. It's a most likely that they(Sora of course) will put the "right to wrong/wrong to right" and so on and so forth.

No because Aqua finds the beach a year after Riku and Sora get out of there. She speaks with Ansem the Wise there. A year after KH II. So when Riku and Sora got there she was still wandering in the darkness.

Well diz said 2 years since he has seen sora right? If so wouldn't aqua have been there 2 years after kh2 not 1? So like in kh3, most likely, sora and kairi will be 17. Cause in com he is 14. And in kh2, he's 15. So two years later is 17. And rikus 18. About the same ages of terra, aqua, and ven in bbs.

pff I already said that we don't know how much time has passed. Ansem says that it's more than a year since they met. Nothing about it being their first or last meeting or whatever. So basicaly it can range from let's say just a few days after KH II or a whole year.
