Roxie 71 Posted July 8, 2012 So I was thinking maybe I should start writing books but I need inspiration or ideas. Any ideas?
Geralt 4,874 Posted July 8, 2012 Well first of all what Genres do you like? Such as Romance, Action, Thriller, Suspense, etc. 1 FireRubies1 reacted to this
Queen Tery 4,591 Posted July 8, 2012 (edited) Inspiration will come by reading books, playing video games, watching TV shows, or watching films that you like. Try that. I can honestly say that it's a better idea than taking ideas or inspiration from some random person on a forum. Edited July 8, 2012 by Ertyx

LollipopZombie 1 Posted July 8, 2012 Read alot. I read Stephen King's book about how to become a better writer (you should read it) and he says to be a good writer you have to read alot and write alot. That's where I got inspiration.
Wolfgang 735 Posted July 8, 2012 You dont want to center your main focus around other books or ideas. You want to be original and creative. Thats one of the point of being a writer. Also why is half your text red and the other blue?..
Dracozombie 4,554 Posted July 8, 2012 Think about what you like to read/watch/play and start from there. The only one you should ask about what to write is yourself, no one else. Then jot down some notes, see what method to get your ideas out works for you. There are plenty of guides online that will help you get started. Go on writing forums if you so insist--this isn't really the community to be asking for writing advice.
Cricket 1,180 Posted July 9, 2012 Try brain storming and get a sheet of paper and write down whatever is coming to your mind and how you want your characters to look and whatever, try to start a portfolio first and make a character list.
