I think I might know why her hair is black! Could it possibly be because Vanitas' hair is black and Vanitus is connected to Ven, who is connected to Sora? :huh:

There could be a reason behind that, but then again it could just be the color they chose and nothing more (to make it look like a more evil sora ya know?) I like where you are going about it though.

i don't think so Vanitas Died and when Ven't heart came to Sora vanitas was dead and his heart was full of Light so i don't think you are right

I still feel like there had to be a reason behind her black hair. It just seems like an odd choice for someone connected to Sora. I mean, it's obvious why Roxas' hair is the way it is. And we know why Xion's hair is shaped the way it is, but not why it's black. :

Well, Eraqus has black hair because they were going for the whole East Asian samurai look for him, but I had a similar theory about Xion and Vanitas.

 

It could be that "incomplete" people have black hair or something (as Vanitas is incomplete without Ven and Xion is incomplete without Sora and Roxas), or, there really IS a connection, and scattered memories of Vanitas leaked out of Sora's heart from Ven's when Xemnas took the memories to make Xion. Just because Vanitas "died" doesn't mean memories of him are gone, and it looked more to me at the end that Vanitas just turned back into light and re=completed Ven's heart at the end before he lost it.
