Well, if you let her run around on your bed while you watch her, she'd probably like that.

Hamsters love to crawl underneath of and over things so you could put pillows for her to crawl on.

Does she have a wheel? All mine have loved them using them.

Using cardboard tubes is good because they can chew on them and play with them.

Any cardboard boxes you have that don't have print on them are good too.

Mine love pieces of tissue paper to rip up and use for bedding.

Also try hiding her food around her cage instead of just giving it to her, they are natural foragers.

Hang pieces of wood and stuff in her cage to chew on too.

I haven't had a hamster in years, but I remember I loved taking her out and putting her in one of those balls and letting her roll around. She seemed to really enjoy it, and you can leave them in there for probably half an hour to an hour before they start getting bored. Just do that daily. They really can't get into very much trouble.

I know at PetSmart, PetCo, or whatever store is closest to you, they sell a bajillion toys for hamsters.

My phone won't let me do the quote thingy http://kh13.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/sleep.png but thankie sai. I'll try some of this after work :) Hopefully she'll stop acting possessed.

I can't shop at Petsmart or Petco. We have a Petsmart but they do animal testing and their hamsters are treated badly in shipping. That's why I'm stuck with home made toys.

some stuff I googled:

Cereal Box Fun

1. Get a empty cereal box

2. Cut various sizes of holes on both sides of the box

3. If you have room in your cage, tape it to the side. if not, let your ham play in it while its in a playpen etc..

4. Enjoy!

Cardboard Maze

1. Gather or collect various sizes of cardboard boxes and paper tubes

2. When you have enough, cut hles in the cardboard boxes so the paper tubes fit though.

3. Do this so all of them connect

4. Enjoy! It can even be a four way maze of fun!

I think that one good thing to do is make a newspaper tunnel. Take a piece of newspaper and tape the ends together. The piece should by kinda small, because hamsters aren't huge. Also, you could try taking some kleenex boxes and stacking them together with masking tape. Add a ramp (a strip of cardboard). Watch the hamsters when they use these, and if they chew the tape take it away.

You can also make a climber out of sisal twine(look in wal-mart where they sell screws and stuff it's cheep too) Your kids can braid it to make a bridge and tie pieces of twine off the edges for the hammy to climb, plus it's safe for them to chew. If you get the thinner sisal twine you can get the kids to tie on pieces of safe wood for the hammy to chew. Your kids can make a popsical stick house for the hammy too, just make sure they use the non-toxic white glue! You can even get a bunch of easy to find hamster safe stuff(tp rolls, popsical sticks, wood pieces, twine, string ect) around your home and let the kids go at it, I'm sure they can come up with something!

Oh I forgot what about a paper mashe house? Just mix flour and water to make a paste and rip up news paper. They can make a tunnel over a jar and take it off when it'd dry!

my hamster loves pvc or abs pipe. you can buy at home depot make any shape you want and its cheap! I suggest using the 2-3 inch pipe. make sure you ask for pvc or abs pipe( plastic pipe )
