blinxhero 91 Posted July 5, 2012 At the moment, there are 2 games I want to get and I am not sure because I have not played any games in the series of the first one, and I'm just not sure about getting the second one because I'm not sure if it's any good, but if it helps, yes I am a fan of Pokemon. The games I want are: Harvest Moon: The Tale of Two Towns (3DS version) and Crystal Monsters (DsiWare) What are your opinions on those two games? As a long time fan of the series I find it to be very boring.... but if you decide for it I recommend making 2 files... each focusing mostly on one town because visiting everyone and doing the quests for both towns takes a long time and it's not enjoyable in any way and the dialogue isn't all that entertaining. The game is full of long tutorials in the beginning and you can't save until the end of the in game day which makes it annoying. The characters are really bland and it's as if the game is holding your hand the whole time. There is no freedom in this game. All you can ever do is talk, farm and do a bit of foraging (you usually never find anything useful). The same thing happens every day except for a festival every few days. Each shop is only open a few days a week and they have 2 to 3 random items every day and it is plain inconvenient. Sorry for the little rant but this game is just not enjoyable to me.
