King Riku 2,063 Posted July 3, 2012 Could Sora's Kingdom Key have the most significance in the series? Yeah, it's the Keyblade of the Realm of Light.
Rob 5,571 Posted July 3, 2012 This .....plus its a good thing to have an original weapon that stands out from the average sword or gun choice Very true. I'd like to see how the chainsaw would have fit. 3 Robbie the Wise, HarLea Quinn and Xalaru reacted to this
Girgi Girgin 38 Posted July 3, 2012 Actually, did you guys know that before the Keyblade, it was a CHAINSAW! Yeah a chainsaw, then they figured it wasn't to "kiddy" i guess, and they switched to the keyblade.
HarLea Quinn 26,501 Posted July 3, 2012 Very true. I'd like to see how the chainsaw would have fit. LOL! It definitely wouldve been fun to see. Snow 1,800 Posted July 3, 2012 I feel that they wanted to be original, and that it would fit for the storyline they had planned. It's more original than making a "Sword of Light" or "Sword of Darkness".
Allpro11414 71 Posted July 3, 2012 Or would you rather have a bunch of these...Honestly I dont think Kingdom Hearts would have been good if it stayed like this. 1 HarLea Quinn reacted to this
Xoleon 23 Posted July 3, 2012 The keyblade is a great way to make the Kingdom Hearts series orginal. Plus the History of the Keyblade has not been mentioned yet and it's a good thing to look foward to in future titles in the series.

Zenithia 305 Posted July 3, 2012 tutti frutti. I don't think treating Heartless, Nobodies, Unversed, and Dream Eaters like Zombies in the same manner as Lollipop Chainsaw would have had the same feeling that we know today.
replika13 455 Posted July 3, 2012 better giant key than giant gun. Its much more fun to hit others with car-keys isnt it? 1 Allpro11414 reacted to this

VIIth Angel 35 Posted July 3, 2012 I still don't know why he became a lion/cat during that time. They'd actually started out with Mickey Mouse being the main character. And don't quote me on this, but I think it was Tetsuya Nomura who wanted original main characters. However you can tell in the first game with the big yellow shoes they still made him Mickey mouse like
Allpro11414 71 Posted July 3, 2012 I still don't know why he became a lion/cat during that time. Nobody does, Nomura had a sick mind Lion King+Final Fantasy=Lion/Human
HarLea Quinn 26,501 Posted July 3, 2012 I heard they also thought about making him a monkey at first too...But hey, especially in KH1 and CoM , he kinda reminds me of a monkey anyways 3 Robbie the Wise, Demyx. and luka reacted to this
PrinceWatermelon 59 Posted July 3, 2012 Nobody does, Nomura had a sick mind Lion King+Final Fantasy=Lion/Human Final Fantasy has had quite a few animal humans/anthromorphic animals i their series. But that original design for Sora looks too much like a Final Fantasy character for my taste.
