I was really surprised, I thought he was straight, then gay, then got conflicted between choices, but I love that he finally came out to the public community. I feel like that could help our everyday Joe Shmoes and Jane Does come out and be comfortable with themselves. I know that I thought it was cool when Zachary Quinto(For those of you who may not know, he is Sylar from Heroes and Spock in the latest Star Trek movie) came out as homosexual, in light of Jamey Rodemeyer's suicide.(He killed himself because he was bullied for being bisexual and against homophobia.) Here is a quote from Zachary Quinto: "that living a gay life without publicly acknowledging it, is simply not enough to make any significant contribution to the immense work that lies ahead on the road to complete equality." I honestly don't know if you're trying to act cool or something but, it wasn't official. Official means in this situation, when the actual person gives a clear statement about it. He just made it official today, while the other times he gave clues and "no one should interfere with my personal life."
