Hantai Soku (opposite soul) Rp

In the beginning, all concepts and rules of the world seemed explainable and simple, and both science and magic had been known to our world and existed in harmony. Until one day, mysterious wormholes appeared around the world, which now acts as a gateway into another universe much like our own except where evil and chaos mostly reigns supreme, and the government has become an anarchy and the police forces to scared to do anything. Some brave (or reckless) souls have chosen to explore this new realm, and people from the other universe vice versa. It is later discovered that all the people from the newly discovered realm have an opposite to them in our world, and to those of us who discover our opposites would refer to them as their "Hantai Soku" (meaning opposite soul in Japanese).

The rp will start with the beggining of the wormholes appearing. Why have the worm holes appeared? What are the Hantai Soku's intentions? The reason for the wormholes have not been discovered, and there may never be a straight forward answer for the Hantai Soku's, as they all have their own agendas.

 

Rules:

•Basic RP rules, no god modding, controlling other people's characters without permission or killing off other people's characters without permission

•When you make your character sheets, if you want a Hantai Soku for your character, you must make a character sheet for both your main character and their Hantai Soku. The first character sheet should be the one you'll consider your main character, and the second will be the Hantai Soku, should you choose to have one. 

•When making your Hantai Soku, it is recommended that you make him/her as polar opposite to your main character as possible. From personality, to the color of their clothes. The more polar opposite, the better. And your main character doesn't have to be good, it can be evil if you choose

•To avoid confusion, the Hantai Soku should probably have a different name then your main character, unless you have a creative solution to this

•So our characters aren't seperately for most of the Rp, everyone will be in the same unnamed town, so we will all at least encounter each other sooner and at least once

•To show that you have read the rules, put your favorite food at the bottom of the sign up sheets.

Abilities (if applicable): Specializes in Fire/Lightning magic

Bio: straight A student in his Sophomore year, he was accepted into a police accademy where he has mastered his fire/lightning magic and has learned to combine it with his ranged weapons that he prefers to use. One of the wormholes appeared near the academy, and school was let out on account of the chaos that has been beginning to happen.

 

Leon's Hantai Soku:

Name: Exavier Deville

Age: 16

Appearance:

Weapon (if applicable): A katana through which he combines his magic with

Abilities (if applicable): Specializes in water/ice magic

Alignment: Evil

Bio: Left on the streets to die when he was just a baby, a criminal mastermind took him under his wing to raise as his own. He grew up learning how to take whatever he wanted right under people's noses, and became a notorious and skilled thief. Unfortuneatly his guardian was killed while doing a job, and at 16, Exavier is once again on his own, making money by working for other criminals. A wormhole has also mysteriously appeared near his city, and is considering whether or not to enter it.

Age: 17

Appearance: wears normal white sneakers and khakis and a white goody. He has silver hair that looks likes Nero's from Devil May Cry and very light blue eyes.

Weapon: Bow and arrow

Abilities: specializes in wind magic and has great accuracy.

Alignment: good

Bio: lived near the beach he use to wind surf all the time. He liked the feel of the wind he began to learn how to use it. He was home schooled but when the wormholes began appearing he left to find answers.

 

Zephyr's Hantai Soku:

Name: Terra (means earth)

Age: 17

Appearance: dresses like a samurai, sandals, and black robe. Black hair with the same style as Zephyr. And red eyes.

Weapon: bow staff

Abilities: earth magic and great speed

Alignment: evil

Bio: as a kid he always tried to cause havoc and chaos. He ran away from home at age 13 and then taught himself everything he knows.

Bio: When Naja was born, he wasn't alive, the government of his dimension used this and warped his body, he was given new life, but the price was his humanity, his dimensions government promised him power and a high rank if he remained as a soldier for them, which he gladly accepted, he now searches for a worthy opponent to test his full strength.

Bio: When she was an infant, she was found in a basket with a letter that said: Take this child. The basket was at the foot of an orphanage and she lives there now, wanting to know who she really is.

Name: Natsuki or Suki (means moon)

Appearance:

Weapon (if applicable): two daggers

Abilities: Could the Moon be an ability too?

Alignment: Evil

Bio: Her life with all of her siblings was tough and all she relied on was God. When she was eleven when she killed one of her friends. Going through depression and anger she left her house and then discovered her ability. After finding her ability, Suki believed that her side was the dark and that was her destiny. Suki gave up trying to regret her past and looked straight to the future.

Jason was in a small gym working out, he didn't really remember the name, but it didn't really matter to him. "Man, why is it nothing eventful really happens here.....oh well, i'm sure something will turn up sooner or later......hopefully sooner." said Jason.

It was about midnight, and Leon had just gotten home from the police academy after it had been temporarily closed down on account of the mysterious wormhole.

"Oh Leon!" His mother shouted running to hug him. "It's been so long since you came back to see us, and I heard about the wormholes on the news, and that there was one right near the academy, I was so worried!"

Leon quickly hugged his mother and pushed away gently. "It's ok, I'm alright, and I'm sure the government will figure out what to do." He looked into the living room expecting to see his father acknowledge his presence, only to find he was more interested in the football game that was on than that his only son was ok.

He turned back to his mother. "I'm going to put my things away upstairs and probably go to bed, I've had a long day."

"Oh, sure thing honey. Goodnight." She replied.

Leon went up to his old bedroom and unpacked his things. He didn't know how long he'd be here, but he decided not to get too comfortable. He laid on his bed and thought about the wormholes, and even thought about checking one out, before he drifted off to sleep.

 

[Exavier the Hantai]

At the same time, Exavier had a bag of money in hand, and was on the run from two bank security guards who apparently assumed they'd be able to catch him. Exavier back flipped over the guards who'd finally caught up with him and flicked his hand at them, encasing them in ice.

"Sorry guys, guess this isn't your day." Exavier joked, patting one of the frozen security guards back. "Maybe next time."

He broke through the bank's window, and ran away to his hideout, without even coming across any police men. They were obviously too chicken to oppose a criminal, as usual.

He'd finally gotten to his little broken down apartment, and locked the door behind him. He dropped his house keys on the counter, through the bag of money on the couch, and plopped himself on an old lazy-boy, listening to the subtle screams of innocent civilians most likely being mugged by the many criminals running amuck. He knew with all the money he'd been stealing he could afford something better than the dump he was in, but thought it better to live in something like this to avoid too much attention.

He thought about the many criminals out there and laughed. "There's too much competition here, it's starting to get hard robbing banks and museums when there's nothing left." He said to himself. He thought about the wormholes that he'd overheard being talked about, and how it possibly led to another world.

"I'm sure the place their is better than this hell-hole." He said softly. "Probably more things to steal there." When he fell asleep, he dreamed of going through the wormhole and finding thousands of museums and banks where he could do what he did best, and steal.

Ragnarok was walking around, being the person to never really stay still. He wasn't in a very good mood again, though he never really is in a good mood, since when he was seven, his whole family was killed. Growing up a little while later, his Foster parents died when he was 8, and the house burnt down. When he was 11, he was taken in by a family that had a Dojo, which his where he learned and taught himself to fight. a year later, at age 12, his new foster parents had died. Now, at age 17, he trusts no one, and just does what he does best, although, he does tend to listen to people, but rarely. "Nothing to do, this sucks. Guess I can go blow some steam at the gym again." he walked to the gym, seeing Jason inside. Not paying any attention to him, he just grabs some 50's, then sits down, slowly breathing and working his arms and chest.

He simply walked around, the book he held in his hand was open all the time, and mainly he didn't pay much attention to his surroundings. "These worm holes. Wonder if there is an alternate me out there. Maybe one day I'll meet the man." He began to walk slowly, knowing that the world he lived in was falling apart, and he had to live in such a place.

Jason saw Ragnarok come in. 'Oh great, sir down's-alot again, guess i should at least try and make conversation.' thought Jason. "Hey, did ya hear about those wormholes?" asked Jason.

 

(Naja, Jason's Hantai)

 

Naja was in a government meeting, he was mostly a bodyguard for the more higher up officials, but he was also a recruiter and a fierce killer. "So, what mission do you guys have for me now?" asked Naja. The head agent told him that when he got the chance, to go through a wormhole and recruit others. "Yes sir, i'll go through in the morning, there should be at least a few people to recruit then." said Naja.

Ragnarok didn't even look at Jason, "None of my concern." he drops the newly acquired 100 weights he was using, picking them up with ease and setting them on the rack. He looked to Jason, his blood red eye's full of anger. "I'm done here." he walked out, leaving a few bucks on the counter, then exits the building. He thought to himself, (If there is an alternate me, he better be stronger than me, otherwise i'll kill him). He looked around, continuing to walk with no real destination.

"Hey!" Jason called after Ragnarok. Jason got up and left the gym, seeing as he had a membership to that gym. Jason caught up to Ragnarok, but kept his distance. "Hey, you shouldn't be walking the streets alone, if those rumors about the wormholes are true, and there are doubles of us through them, you're probably gonna need some help, especially if there's another version of me in there, cause i'm pretty skilled." said Jason.

 

(Naja)

 

The board meeting had finished, but before Naja left, he was stopped by the top agent, who told him that he should probably head through that night. "So be it, but i'll need some time to prepare...who knows what i'll run into in there....and if your scientists are correct, and it is a door to another dimension, i'm sure there'll be another me." said Naja.

Ragnarok was getting annoyed, "I don't care, I can fend for myself, besides, what do you care, you don't even know me." he kept walking in the same direction. "Just go home." he said in a cold tone, shoving someone that was in his way to a wall, "Outa my way.". He continued to walk, not caring where he was going.

When he awoke early in the morning, he got changed, and left the house without waking his parents, as he thought it better to leave them be while he was wandering around his hometown. He came across people arguing, and unsure of whether it would get dangerous, hid behind a tree, ready to step in if it got messy.

 

[Exavier the Hantai]

Exavier also woke up early, unable to sleep long as he was an insomniac. He decided to walk around and try and find a wormhole to go through. He found life now to be boring and didn't care to know whether or not the mysterious wormholes were dangerous or not.

"Worst case scenario, I leave this miserable world. Best case, I go to a better one." He joked, looking intently for any strange signs there may be a wormhole nearby.

Naja was finally ready to enter the wormhole. When he got to one, he jumped through and ended up near a crowded area. People soon started screaming and running from him. "Hmm, if this is the other world, than i bet my other self, if he exists, will be as pathetic as them." said Naja. Naja continued walking until he rounded a corner, where he saw Jason and Ragnarok. "Hmm, those two at least look promising, i'll wait and see if they notice that i'm here." Naja said to himself.

Ragnarok had enough. "Who the hell do you think you are!? Guessing by my attitude? No one understands my pain, and NO ONE WILL!! Darkness began to slowly drift from his body, his face full of rage. "You know what happens when you put your trust into someone you don't know? You lose EVERYTHING!! I Suggest you turn yourself around, before I reduce this place into a living hell for everyone!" very little people around where beginning to slowly back away in fear.

Naja started sarcastically clapping as he approached Jason and Ragnarok. "Oh, Bravo, Bravo, a darkness user, with rage that would make even my boss proud, and unstoppable by the looks of it......and, of course, the one who will not back down, the one with spirit and heart, possibly a skilled fighter....we could use people like you, here are our terms, you fight for us and follow orders without question, and in return you shall receive power beyond your imagining, whatta ya both say?" asked Naja. "And, do think about it fast, i've got a lot to do."

"Who in blazes are you, and what do you mean you could use people like us?" asked Jason. He was really staring down Naja, as he wasn't certain what he would be dealing with should he have to fight.
