KHBbS Sora and Vanitas?

Ok, spoilers for those who don't know.

 

 

Vanitas is a blacked-hair, yellow eyed Sora

 

Anyways, I can't seem to understand why Vanitas looks like Sora. I know about Ventus and Vanitas. Vanitas is the dark side of Ventus, well the darkness in his heart. And Ven's heart went into Sora at the end of BBS, causing Sora's Nobody, Roxas, to look like Ven.

 

But what I don't get is why does Vanitas look like Sora? If you look at it in a way, Vantias has not connection to Sora. Nor does Ven.

The reason why he looks like sora is a big mystery.

Maybe it's Sora that looks like Vanitas and not the other way around. When Vanitas was created Sora was still a little kid so they technically didn't looked alike until Sora got older when he already had Ventus heart inside him.

Maybe when they merged back together and Ven went into Sora's body he grewed into it. Idk maybe his light overcomed the darkness and changed the colors.

Like maybe ? just maybee like it has to do with kh 3 ? there has been rumors going around saying that sora has to go into the past or somthing to make all the sad people happy ?

THIS IS A SPOILER. YOUR NOW WARNED. This theory also got Vens ending in.

 

 

Ok First of all. Vanitas was created from Ventus heart. That means he is a part of him. And in ventus ending. We get to see his heart talking to Sora. And tells him that he is part of his heart (Soras Heart) and their hearts were created at the same time.

 

Since he was created from Ventus, whose heart is part of Soras. That must have some kind of side kick/effect. That made him look like a 14-15 year old Sora. With black hair and yellow eyes.

yep true this is a Mystery when i firt Saw Vanitas face i was surprised but and comfused on why he looks like Sora

The reason why this happened is because Sora linked his heart with Ven, dont ask me how, I havent played through it yet, but its been discussed on this site like 100 times.

 

Anyways Vanitas was born from Ven's darkness and took on the form of a future Sora

Its possible that Vanitas didnt have an initial form, he was just an embodiment of darkness. Then, since Ven connected his heart with Sora, Vanitas took Sora's form.

Hmmm all this may be explained sooner than KH3. There has been rumors going around that there will be another game, before KH1, and after BBS. Its called KH DD. But no one knows what "DD" means. Perhaps Door to Darkness?

okay heres the reason why vanitas look like roxas ia dues sora's heart connecting with ventus at the beginning of the game (we all know how ventus was created by xehanort, this was wehn ventus served as xehanorts apprentice and was unocncious after killing to many NeoShadows which then xehanort uses ventus keyblade and unlock ventus heart which led to the formaton of vanitas). but as i was saying ,and if anyonelse connects with ventus heart (sora) other than xehanort,vanitas will look like that person .

4 years before the start of BBS, Ven served as Xehanort's apprentice. Ol' MX here was already starting to set his plan in motion; to obtain the X-blade, reenact the Keyblade Wars, and gain a new body, the latter of which was originally meant to be Ven. However, Ven, being too soft, refused to tap into the darkness and unleash it's strength, and thus proved to be useless for MX. So Xehanort decided to split his heart in two, creating Vanitas with the dark half, and leaving Ven with an heart, yet incomplete, of pure light.

 

Afterwards, MX took Ven to his home world of Destiny Islands, so that he would have a nice place to rest, being the comatose state and thus rendered a vegetable due to his incomplete heart. At that time, Sora was just born, and his heart was on it's way to enter his body. His heart met up with Ven's , and offered to let Ven connect his heart with his own to make it whole. And through this connection, Vanitas' appearance was affected.

 

 

Though Nomura has already confirmed that if Ven had connected his heart with another person, say Riku for example, Vanitas would've taken on Riku's appearance.

I have a theory that maybe well if anyone noticed Sora's hair did not take shape till he was 14, 10 years after he got Vanitas/Ventus' heart in him so maybe Vanitas' heart being in him made his appearence change when he got older. (Just a theory) Also Vanitas and Ven are probably 14.
