Elcono 7 Posted June 22, 2012 I just found out that there is new version of Nintendo 3DS called Nintendo 3DS XL with larger display and everything. Its just bigger version and I was wondering how is it going to affect KH3D? I don´t have a 3DS yet and I was going to buy it only because of KH game but since there´s a bigger one to be released I am gonna buy the bigger 3DS and my question is if the KH3D is made to suit the little one since they didn´t know there was a bigger one to be released on 28th of July in EU will the graphics be fuzzy if you try to play it on the large 3DS?? I´m quite uncertain right now but if I´m going to get a 3DS I´m definitely buying the new one that is coming. I´m just worried if the game will work on it properly as it would work on normal 3DS. hatok 6,413 Posted June 22, 2012 Uh... the only change is the size of the screen. And yes, the graphics will be a little blurrier, though it won't be as bad as it is on the DS because the 3DS is higher resolution. KH won't be affected in any meaningful way, it'll just be bigger. 1 Queen Tery reacted to this
Elcono 7 Posted June 22, 2012 It´s actually bigger, not just the screen look http://images.eurogamer.net/2012/articles//a/1/4/9/4/2/4/5/3DSXL2.jpg.jpg/EG11/resize/1280x-1 I´m glad to hear that. I hope it will be even better experience than with the little one.
xemnasbane 71 Posted June 22, 2012 No actually Nintendo said that the resoulution would be better than that of the 3DS. I wants it...No...I NEED'S it!

Mirr0rVS13 169 Posted June 22, 2012 If you buy the 3DS XL you won't have the option to control the camera in KH: 3D unlike with the orgiinal 3DS that gives you the option if you buy the circle pad pro. But to be honest, it really isn't such a big deal. I have the game (Japanese version) and its still perfectly playable without the second circle pad. Enjoy your 3DS XL! Xalaru 445 Posted June 22, 2012 (edited) I've never liked XL versions because sure, it's a bigger screen, yay and all... but like I've said in another thread, all this bigger screen really does is turn the bigger picture into a very unappealing, visibly pixelly state. And I'd prefer to have my games in a normal size and look great, than a huge size and look worse. But, have fun with it regardless, you probably have your own reasons as to why you want a giant 3DS. & no, other than making it blurrier and bigger it won't have any effect on KH, don't worry. Elijah Gravenhorst 480 Posted June 22, 2012 If you notice on smaller screens that have the same density of larger ones, the smaller ones cant show as much because of the lack of pixels. That means that a larger screen wont really effect the quality... And think, If we can watch the high quality cutscenes the size of a computer screen without being able to tell the difference between a Ps2 cutscene then I think it will be fine on a 3ds xl screen. Also they dont make games for the eddition of 3ds, they make it for the software, in other words there is no way to make a game specifically for the xl since they are essentially the same hardware. comicboots 8 Posted June 23, 2012 Im just gonna buy the smaller normal 3DS. I think on a bigger screen some things like cutscenes may get blurry, but for game play with a huge map as a result of flowmotion it may be a benefit. When the 3DS XL comes out i may read some reviews about it and then if it is good i will trade in my current 3DS and old DS Lite to buy the new one. 1 Kello reacted to this
Porphyria336 5 Posted July 2, 2012 If you don't live in NA, don't bother. Nintendo is not including A/C adapters in the European and Japanese versions of the 3DS XL
RoxasMax 10 Posted July 2, 2012 Why buy a 3DS XL when the normal 3DS will likely receive a prize drop because of the XL's release?

hatok 6,413 Posted July 3, 2012 Its not blurrier =_= Yes, the screen is larger, and a blur filter is being applied to make it appear less pixelated

TheDarkFollower 2 Posted July 3, 2012 If you loke the quality of a ds game on the 3ds, then you will like the quality of a 3ds game on a 3DS xl
