Deadshot 666 Posted January 14, 2010 So you know that Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire are no longer a part of the "Spider-Man" franchise. So now they are re booting series for 2012.So what do you think about this and who should be villians in it? I think this was a good thing after Spider man 3 and way they treated the villians in the movies. Also the villians i would like see is Kingpin,Shocker,Hobgoblin,Mysterio, Chameleon
ObsidianEagle 103 Posted January 18, 2010 really? i think sales will go down heavily without toby maguire. me (and alot of other people) like spiderman the way it is
Deadshot 666 Posted January 18, 2010 i didn't like the 3rd one and 2nd one was below par i was fan of first one.Personly i think villians were written terribly just look at doc ock and sandman there were not evil. And in the new spiderman they should look at what batman did and not put your biggest villian first. They still will make tons money in the new spiderman properly make as much as the old ones did

Kairi-loves-Sushi 15 Posted January 22, 2010 I heard about this. To tell u the truth, I really like the Spider-man movies. But my older bro (comic book geek) said that they didn't make Peter Parker right. He wasn't sarcastic enough and he was supposed to stay in highschool for a while. The first movie was the end of his highschool years and in all three movies, he's just not witty enough when he's Spider-man. I do agree with him but i like the movies...but i like the comic book spidy too! I'm in a pickle! What is up with Marvel? The started over with X-Men, they are rebooting Fantastic Four (don't blame them for that, but i still like the actors!) and Spider-man! Spider-man was like the best movies that Marvel ever did! I just don't get it. Well, I always liked Shocker, but Venom should always be the main villain of the series;D Maybe Lizard would be a good villain to start fresh with. idk *shrugs*

Couldn't they just keep the story of the first three movies going? I think they're doing this too soon. It's the same as the Hulk movies. They didn't continue the story from Ang Lee's version because the ticket sales were bad (I think) and everyone thought it stunk, which I disagree with story-wise. They did the newer version with Edward Norton later on as a reboot. I'm not saying I hate it when they do this. It just seems kind of ridiculous to reboot a series this early. If they had to use different actors for the next Spider-Man movie, I would understand because they did the same for The Dark Knight with Rachel's character (though, I suspect it didn't matter to the viewers). I know all of this is for commercialism, but I like to look at things from a creative view, and I say that a reboot this early would be unnecessary. I agree with you on the Reboot, plus James Camron is shepureding them, since its gonna be in...3D! So,with that, and since its gonna be in 2012,with wha t soem poeple say Zak Efferorn,or percy Jackson guy should play spider-man. I saw, this: Get soemone who actully is a REAL TEENAGER,and not some good look'in Zak Efferon Punk. and 2) Don't do it! since ten eyars is pretty short. wait for 25 years then do that. then! there. I mena starting foff fresh after the herndous Spider-man 3,and haow they screwed up Venom,yeah...horrible,so in that sence of startign fresh then I agree for a reboot.
