True, I totally forgot about this. But yeah-- it didn't really move the plot anywhere forwards.

I completely agree with your thinking. God bless you. To be honest, I've been really enjoying all of these side games a lot. Re:Coded and 358/2 Days were extremely fun to play and throughout all of these side games I feel like I've been learning so much more about the series and I enjoy that. 358/2 Days, to this date, is my close second favorite to KHII.

Yes yes I know that already... but it's not going to be the same after KH3, is it? Well, I suppose it will in a sense, and I have no idea what's actually gonna happen after KH3, but still. People shouldn't be so unhappy with the games inbetween, I love learning more about KH and all that and I've loved each one of the games; not just the home console ones. Sure, KH3 will probably be an epic game, but having ones inbetween it are (most of the time) just as fun. I can't imagine a single person here would rather we have NO Kingdom Hearts games in the wait for KH3, than have these 'side' ones.

Not to mention KH:3D is a main aspect in the storyline leading up to KH3 or something, so yeah, most of the games are just as important to the storyline as KH3 is.

Anyway, regardless of when the series DOES end, it'll end eventually. The more games we have to remind ourselves of it and play over and over again, the better.

 

So. I thiiiiiiiink I've made this go a bit off-topic so, I'll shut up now before I confuse myself.

I'm really interested the future of KH after KH3.

We know Sora will be the hero till the game series is over. So who knows what sora and the gang would be up to?

Nomura also said that he is considering to release future KH games in Multi platform, such as KH (insert title here) for PS3 (4), Xbox 360, and Wii U.

I know that there is an unlikely chance that KH will appear on Xbox, but hey, a guy can dream right?

We won't know what they're talking about , in KH III we probably see ventus/aqua if there wasn't BBS its will just confuse us,

if there wasn't BBS in KH III when they'll present the XII Xehanorts - We probably see terranort , and we won't understand what is the diffrence between MX to Xehanort Appertnice(terranort)

So there will be a big gap and also some big holes in the plot without all the sides game , cause the writer of the series can't explain all what he did in the sidegames in one game(KH iii)
