Zenithia 305 Posted June 20, 2012 tutti frutti. I've been looking to see what the internet has to offer in terms of a good video converter. I currently have the AVS video converter, but I am forced to look for something better. So I figured I would ask around to see if anyone on here would recommend a good video converter. Oishii 3,987 Posted June 20, 2012 I use Adobe After Effects for everything with videos, even changing formats. Sadly, it is not free...

Does it have that logo in the middle of the screen after you are done converting the clip/movie/etc.? I'm kind of hoping that it doesn't have that. The AVS has that for the converted clips and such, but it's pretty annoying. Edited June 20, 2012 by zhill05

Don't worry, it doesn't have any logo in the middle of the screen after conversion, pop-ups or other ads. I think it's the best free converter out there! Zamzar had to change their policy after Youtube sent them a threatening e-mail stating that Zamzar is violating Youtube's Terms of Service. However, converting files is absolutely fine! If you're changing an MP4 to a WMV for example, Zamzar is amazing. Edited June 20, 2012 by wayfinder823

FireRubies1 1,325 Posted June 20, 2012 I have been using the Youtube Downloader... it sorta lowers the quality and sometimes the audio glitches a bit, but for some reason the conversions are slow as firetruck for me
Sora96 17,256 Posted June 20, 2012 When you download videos off YouTube simply use KeepVid. No install required and you'll get the highest possible quality with a variety of different resolutions and file types available. You can use Sony Vegas to change a video's file type, this way you can preserve the quality. You can also upscale it.
