Lucan and his pack were either jumping in the river for more water or running around and shaking themselves dry near the fire to dowse it. "Ok, we've almost cleared it, keep going." Lucan commanded his pack. After a few more minutes of running and throwing water on the fire, it was completely out. "Ok, now, go get as many wolves as you can find....that Demigod wants a fight, we'll give him a fight." said Lucan. Half of his pack then ran further into the forest while Lucan ran to the edge. "Echo, Stall Him, I've Got An Idea!" called Lucan.

Keith deflected the arrow easily. "You think simply a few bears could kill me?" 5 floating swords appeared next to him.

"OK" Echo thought. "Well If you think they wont then I will." she laughed to Keith. Echo shot eight arrows at him and dodged one on the swords. "So Mr. I wanna kill you all with swords, You think you can stop all of us?" Echo asked shooting another arrow.

Keith's swords deflected all the arrows. "Heh, even if I can't stop you all, there's a lot more Demigods powerful than me. You're just wasting your time, most of the Demigods can handle an entire mythical creature army alone without any help. You guys won't stand a chance."

Lucan had finally gotten his plan together and was now at the edge of the forest. "Hey, Demi-loser, if eight bears can't stop you, then how does 3 packs of wolves sound?" asked Lucan as some wolves started exiting the forest. "Now, let me clear the air, you're fighting a nymph, who can have the entire population of the forests creatures out here, and a werewolf who's the leader of a wolf pack...weight your options here, retreat, or die.....your choice." said Lucan.

Echo laughed and agreed with Lucan's plan. Even though it was a serious situation he was right. Echo then called some buck deer's, a little more bear, and about ten fox. "I could get more but your done for, LOSER Demigod." she laughed at Kieth.

While Kieth was distracted, Claude came up behind the demigod and plunged one of his knives into his back. " And I could handle a whole army of you," he retorted. "Now die you son of a @#$%&," the demon said heartlessly before pulling the bloody knife out.

"Eugene! Thank the gods you're here!" Jan sighed in relief. "There was a demigod and where are the others?" Just then, Jan heard a rustling. A crow covered in black mist flew around in circles above the two. The whole area became dark. "I see you've found someone to help you." It was La Het Chet's voice. It echoed around the area. "We will come. We will be watching you." Without hesitation, Jan unsheathed his dagger and threw it at the crow. The dagger fell. A dark aura covered it. "This isn't good..." Jan complained. The crow dived down, it's beak sharper than his own dagger. "Run!" Jan yelled. He jumped out of the way.

Eugene also jumped out of the way and drew his sword. "Jan, the others are fighting another demigod, by the way. I guess we'll have to do something about this one by ourselves. You up for that?" All of a sudden another crow dived down, and Eugene jumped high, and tryed to block it with his sword, but the force and speed of it sent him back to the ground where he used all of his strength to deflect it.

"Sure!" Jan yelled. The two crows rose up, high into the sky. One crow dived to Jan, the other to Eugene. Jan grabbed onto his fallen dagger, which was still covered with a dark aura. It tingled at his grip. Jan clutched on his dagger and slashed the crow. The crow was slashed in half like a warm knife cutting butter. The pieces of the crow turned into two black blobs. The two black blobs turned into two other crows. "Great, now we have three clothes to deal with..." Jan sighed.

Eugene saw the crow diving down toward him. He was going to wait until the crow was close enough for him to slash it. Steady, steady, Now. Eugene slashed that crow in two but they seperated and became another two. "Now there's four to take car of. If we attack them, then they'll just double in numbers, we've got to figure out a way to stop them, but how?" Eugene wondered.

"I have an idea!" Jan yelled out. He changed to his normal size. To him, the crows were huge. Jan ran as fast as he could. He grabbed a piece of floss from his hat. He jumped and tied the head of the crow with the floss. The flow started to take off. Jan held on to the floss for his dear life. While the crow was flying, Jan tried his best to climb up the floss. The floss started swinging, making Jan dizzy. The crow flew around in circles, trying to shake Jan off. Finally, he reached the top of the crow.

This wasn't the first time Jan rode a bird. Bird riding was a class a his academy. The crow still tried to shake him off. Jan clutched on the floss. He commanded the crow to turn to the left. The crow tried to throw him off, but failed. It obeyed Jan, unwillingly. He commanded the crow to go to the direction of the other crows. Jan clutched his dagger an stabbed one of the other crows. It dissolved into a black sand. "Eugene!" Jan yelled, "Stab, not slash!" The crow flew back up.

"That's a great idea. I'm all fired up." Eugene jumps at a crow and stabs it in the gut. He lands and see another crow diving at him. He jumps to the side and stabs the crow. "That's all the crows that I can see. All right, Jan, you've got the last one to take of." Eugene puts his sword away, and watches Jan.

"I got it!" Jan yelled. He grabbed onto his dagger and stabbed the back of the crow. The crow disappeared into a mist. Jan was free falling. He hadn't though about that. "Ahh!" he yelled. He was too distracted to turn to his human size, and he knew it. Jan got closer to the ground. He landed on his feet. "Ah, thank the lords!" Jan yelled. He turned into his human size. "Eugene! Where are the others?"

Eugene replied, "They're still in the forest, last time I saw them they were fighting another demigod. Come on, let's go meet up with them." Eugene starts to run in the direction where he came from.

"Okay, let's go." Jan said, following Eugene.

At the forest, Jan saw familiar faces, everyone he met. He saw one unfamiliar face. "Guys! Where's the demigod!?" he yelled out. He spotted it. An ominous looking boy with a sharp chin, wearing simple clothes. I had enough of these stupid...creatures! First they destroy my town. Now they try to destroy innocent lives. This is enough! Jan turned to the demigod, unsheathing his dagger, which was covered with the dark aura. (Battle music starts)

"Jan, bout' time you showed up." Echo said shooting a bow at Keith's face.

"Wow, it looks like I didn't miss much of the fun after all." said Eugene as he drew his sword and pointed it at the demigod. "Thanks, guys for not doing much while I was gone."

"We tried but your welcome." Echo said shooting another arrow at Keith.

"Yup," Jan replied, "But it's not time to worry just yet." The dagger's aura grew darker. Jan remembered his thoughts more clearly, but they seemed tampered with. It seemed to be Jan's fault for all his failures and his worst nightmares. He had memories of invading his own town, attacking his parents. Jan seemed like the bad person. This made Jan confused. He felt a pounding in his head. He started to break down, crying. Stop it! Please! It was Jan's own voice, but distorted. The images of Jan dead and mutilated polluted his mind. I beg of you!

Lucan could sense something was wrong with the newcomer, something dark. Lucan then looked at the dagger in his hand. "Hey, Drop The Dagger.....DROP THE DAGGER!" called Lucan. Lucan then turned to the wolves. "All of you, go help Echo.....i'll help that guy." said Lucan. The wolves ran to help Echo while Lucan went to check on Jan. "Hey, you doing ok?" asked Lucan.

"Okay... Um...I guess...ATTACK!" Echo yelled a little foolishly. (battle music) "Hey demigod, over here!" Echo yelled. She shot the Demigod in the shoulder as two wolves bit him.

"Hmph," Keith took out the arrows from his shoulder and his swords sliced the two wolves. Suddenly his watch started blinking and Keith rolled his eyes. "My boss is waiting for me, I'll leave you for now but I warn you guys will suffer many pain and misery. Like that guy over there." Keith nodded to Jan. "Also, I'll tell my boss about you guys. You would be an excellent entertainment." Then Keith disappeared into the mist.

Eugene sheathed his sword, and said to everone, "Not only did he escape, and is on his way to tell his higher ups about us, but also, I really get any fun out of this at all." Eugene sighed, then he looked at Jan and asked him, "Are you okay there buddy, earlier you looked like you were seeing things?"

"Jerk!" Echo yelled at the mist. She then swung her arrows over her shoulder and held the bow in her left hand. Echo walked over to Jan and sat on the ground. "That was a pain in the butt. Are you okay? You really worried me. In fact...Is EVERYONE okay?" Echo asked. She then put her bow own and looked at her hands. Echo had a slight wound on her left arm. "I will be okay." she whispered.
