Text Sad True Story... ( even hawkie cries from it :'( )

Story doesn't belong to me, I only translated it in english.

I found that somewhere on the internet... and it really brought tears in my eyes... hope you'll SEE the message of this story.

 

 

Once there was a blind girl who had a boyfriend. She really wanted to go on eye surgery, just to see her boyfriend for one time. Soon after there was a donor who volunteer to give her eyes. She accepted it and got ready for the surgery.

 

Surgery was successful and after it she immediately wanted to see her boyfriend. But when she saw him for the first time she broke up with him. Not becuase he was ugly or something. He was blind just like she, before the surgery.

 

Next day she got a visit from a very good friend of hers, who told her the whole story. Donor of her new eyes was no other than her boyfriend! She quickly ran to his house to apologize, but she was too late. Her boyfriend commited suicide.

 

In tears she stayed in his room for the whole day, when she found a letter on his desk. Those were the last words that he had written.

 

"I hope you'll be happy now that you aren't blind anymore. I'll hope you can see all nature's beauties that you couldn't before."

Fiction or not, it is still sad, but I've read sadder stories.

 

Alot of stories in fiction are based off of real events. This happens too, we just don't hear about it.

Sad, it's like that mother goose story where each sibling sells his own toy to buy a gift that will enhance his brother's toy, and then when they give them to each other they don't have any use for the gifts. Only this one is sadder.
