Amon 4,279 Posted June 12, 2012 (edited) The very last comment is stupid. The only obsolete thing about the HP tablet would be the software, which could of been upgraded if it sold better. Everything else about the HP tablet is superior. Note: The iPad in the picture is a generation 1. Still though, 7 years later and still technologically inferior. Remains of Old 117 Posted June 12, 2012 Me neither, it's not like tablets are a new thing after all, Wacom, for example, has a lot of tablets too, long before iPad existed ( I understand they are tablets used to draw and stuff, but, it's a tablet) I think that the population that didn't knew tablets existed only discovered they did, when iPad came out, because, ya know... Apple is a big company, and when this population that didn't knew about tablets took a look on the iPad, they were like OMG THE FUTURE IS HERE! And that's why. 1 Keyblader reacted to this

That's the only reason why they made it so far in computing. Everyone else makes stuff that looks modern, Apple makes stuff that looks futuristic (despite being below average). Then they advertise the crap out of it and make people feel important because they own one. It's such a foolproof and brilliant plan that you would think a super-villain has been controlling Apple all these years. Yeah, i only own one thing made from apple, which is my little beloved iPod Shuffle, and, honestly, i love every single design from Apple, in a way that, if i had the money, i would only own things made from Apple... So, yeah, the futuristic design you mentioned, it makes sense.

Think Pink 1,967 Posted June 13, 2012 I have an iPad & an iPod and both work just fine. ._. Apple's products suit the average person fairly well. I mean, most of the fancy stuff the iPad is missing we wouldn't need anyway. I'd also like to point out that while I know practically nothing about anything remotely technical, my iPad has a headphones plug. I listen to stuff all the time on it. Amon 4,279 Posted June 13, 2012 I'm curious. If you were to get a tablet, what kind would you get? I'm not much of a tablet person, but if I had unlimited funds and the will to own a tablet I'd probably an Asus Eee Pad or the Sony Tablet S.

Think Pink 1,967 Posted June 13, 2012 You're paying more for inferior technology, simply because you choose not to be informed. I guess, in a way, you deserve it... For what the iPad does, it's not that bad of a price. It may not compare as well to that other tablet, but it fits most of the average person's needs. Why should I buy something like the other tablet that has a bunch of features I'll never use? It would be a waste. There are plenty of other people who wouldn't use them as well. That's like saying that paper is inferior to typing on a computer. In some ways maybe it is, but you don't see people not using paper anymore. Almost everyone has an iPad or iPhone that we all use daily, and I don't hear the majority of people complaining. Apple created a product that suits the needs of most individuals. Sure, some people probably do need the other more fancy tablet, but the average person doesn't. The iPad is not a bad product at all. 1 TheApprenticeofKingMickey reacted to this
